Krystal — Restaurant in Byron

This was the worst restaurant we've ever been to! First my husband walks in and ha had forgotten his mask so when they yelled at him to get out without a mask he hurried out the door to get his mask. Then after he puts it on and goes to go into the place they ran from behind the counter and locked the doors and put the exit only sign up! Ok no problem! Well we had the rv behind us because we were on vacation so we couldn't go through the drive thru grrrr! So he walked up to the window and asked to please order because we loved krystal's and they let him order. Well great we were excited again so then they told us to actually wait out front away from the doors and drive thru? Ok we wait out front watching them prepare our food and the cook comes from behind the counter from the back takes her gloves off and closes the blinds so we can't see in?!!!! It's 9:00 at night! So ok we're extremely worried about our food now! Why didn't they want us to see??? Then we get the food 18 minutes later and because we were definitely discriminated against for a reason unknown we decided not to eat it and we went...

I had been seeing the special with a hot dog and Krystal so I decided to try it. I placed my order said I wanted a pup and Krystal and no ice in the drink. She hands me a drink with ice ok not the end of the world hands me my order I pull away and park. Check the order no pup. Go inside tell them I ordered a pup and Krystal said I didn't say that. Not the best to call your costumer a liar. She said it would be more I told her it's part of the meal. She then proceeds to do the corn dog not the hot dog and then another costumer had been waiting 10 minutes and his order was just being made. I take the corn dog which was still the wrong order just to leave. No apology no hot dog nothing but sadness. Last time I tried another Krystal I waited 15 minutes with the employees just looking at me working on orders not even trying to place my order so I left. (Byron Location) We ordered in the app and part of the order were 5 chili cheese pups, they were not edible. I bit into one and instantly spit it out. They looked gray in color, were hard & obviously old! The bun even looked stale. All 5 were thrown in the trash. We were surprised food was served like this, given we pass our local restaurant just to go to this one for the customer service & fresh food. It's sad many restaurants are just lacking common decency & care for how people are served. I've worked in restaurants for years while in school. I wouldn't serve customers anything I wouldn't eat! Employees really show you they just want a paycheck when they could care less about the condition of food they serve you! It's no wonder many places are closing their doors & going out of business. People have choices of where to spend their hard earned money! I'll buy Frozen White Castle before...
