One of my sisters visiting wanted Waffle House. The people at this location were so positive in spirit and chill. I'd forgotten my disappointment of the menu changes being so impressed by the staff. The grilled chicken plate no longer exists on the printed menu. (The one with the hash browns, 1-2 grilled chicken breast, eggs, toast w apple butter and grits, perhaps a waffle, unsure This was available as a plate or dinner.) I was still able to order it but there were several ''bowl' type meals that I gazed at wondering about the years. Either way, it's good to know it tastes the same despite the minimal style restaurant menu trends of today. This Waffle House can make it for you. The staff seemed more mature, common sense types able to create a ticket without making a scene how to ring it up. I can't deal with locations where the staff is overly playing around, laughing, loud and the food wait is long to get something like grits at room temperature. The visit was comfortable. I can't comment for later hours, our visit was prior to 4pm. I could eat here more but it's not along my typical route. At first, I wished it was larger, but it seems just fine tucked along the highway like a gem of nostalgia in...
