Terrible food, but that's every McDonald's, and extremely overpriced nowadays. The employees seemed indifferent, as if they couldn't care less if zero customers walked through the door. The cashier barely spoke English, had to spell out my order slowly because she kept getting it wrong. The condiment and drink area had ketchup splattered and spilled all over, sticky pop residue everywhere, napkins put in the dispenser backwards so they didn't come out one at a time, but rather in pieces or a big wad. Half the tables hadn't been wiped down in the dining area. This was mid-afternoon, well after the lunch rush, with only me in line ordering, and one other table of teenagers, and maybe two cars in the drive thru, and they still hadn't had a chance to send one person to clean up the dining and condiment area? The driveway was also very rutty with snow and ice, as if they chose to save a nickel on past snowfalls and not have it plowed, creating an unsafe, slippery situation for any fool who chose to dine in.
The drift I get from this McDonald's location in particular is one of extreme indifference; not just towards customers and creating a welcoming, safe atmosphere, but towards the store's success in-general. This attitude almost certainly comes from store management and their own indifference in their hiring practices, as well as overall store management.
This location was recently remodeled. They should've renovated their staff as well, starting at the very top. It's an insult to your customers to be asking today's ridiculous McDonald's prices, with the same greasy, tasteless, low quality food as before, then throw a messy, poorly managed store on top of...
Read moreThey forgot my food. I waited 13 minutes before asking for it, and they gaslit me stating they called my name and threw it out because I didn’t answer. First of all, he wasn’t calling anyone’s numbers very loud, so I stuck to the counter. Second, it wasn’t very busy, no way I missed my number.
Maybe they were distracted by the District Manager being in there with her kids (I knew her position because she was making her rounds with a baby on her hip, to customers sitting down and proclaiming it’s the only company she’s ever worked for and how much she loves it).
edit for my most recent visit; so far this is the only place I’ve been where I’ve never had the right order. It’s actually comical now-I’m not even mad at this point. Today I ordered a 2 cheese burger meal and got a double cheeseburger and 2 cokes. I’ll ad more fun mishaps another...
Read moreI have not been to a McD's in years. My experience this go around has validated my reasons for staying away. The person taking the order was very polite and that is why I am giving this order 2 stars. The fries were way too salty, enough to cause a frequent customer to have hypertension. Your initial bite is deceived by the temperature of the fries. As you begin to chew the dried out realization invades your mouth. I tried a couple more and still the same stale taste. As I moved on to the double filet-o-fish I felt as though I had bitten into a fish sandwich coated in cardboard. I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. The sandwich was not worth $4.49. I guess I'll go several more years without this quick...
