If I could give ZERO stars I would. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had a restaurant. They do not tell you its first come first serve for seating so when my group of 3 was told 20mins we walked around to waste some time. As they were cleaning the table for us, they sat another party at that table. There was another table opening that we were able to get. A waitress did come over and got our drinks and food order, but then disappeared. We couldn’t even get water refills for over 30mins. I had ordered a cinnamon roll but what I got was 3 cold from the tube cinnamon rolls with cold frosting and we had been sitting there for 45mins at that point. After further looking around I noticed a Tupperware container with the cinnamon rolls next to a microwave. We still were trying to give them the benefit of a doubt and waited for our food. The plates arrived close to another 15 minutes after the cinnamon rolls. We ordered omelets which were $14 on the menu. It came out looking like scrambled eggs with 2 sausage links cut up for the meat. It was terrible. I approached the assistant manager and explained everything, she didn’t even look surprised. We did not eat nor pay for anything. In total we spent about an hour and a half from arriving to leaving. I will not...
Read moreAwesome food with really great service. Both me and my wife ate and we both loved our food. I got the sausage and cheddar omelet smothered in sausage gravy with pancakes and a fruit cup and my wife got the standard route (2eggs, hash browns, pancakes and a fruit cup) and both were delicious! By the way this place is one of a very few 501(c)(3) restaurants in the country and they their mission, which is to offer work for developmentally disabled & cognitively impaired adults in their community, is totally awesome. My cousin is cognitively impaired and this type of job would be great to help her get into the workforce, but unfortunately she doesn't live anywhere near here. The only thing that I would change is they have a flat screen that shows the employees bio and some local adds, but they don't give you enough time to read the entire bio. Add a few more seconds to their bio and I will bump my review to 6 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌟 Keep up the good...

This is one of our local favorites for lunch when we are in town. The staff is always friendly and the special staff will always have a smile and be more than willing to get an extra napkin or more to drink as well as removing empty plates. Have gotten to know some of them through the years and they always appreciate you recognizing them and knowing their name. Love the atmosphere here in the old train station.
There is also a farm market adjacent ( Tuesday and Friday when in season great for produce and crafts as well as baked goods.
Village park across the street is a great place to eat as well as experience the old logging...
