Chunky Bear Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Cadillac

My husband and I went to Chunky Bear for the first time on October 20, 2025. I had seen it almost a year ago, and was curious. I was so impressed in every way. My husband, not a coffee enthusiast, had a ham panini. I had the turkey panini, though I am mostly plant based in what I normally eat. I also had a caramel frappe made with oat milk, no whipped cream. We both loved the sandwiches, they were super yummy. They came, each with a delicious pickle, and a small bag of chips. My frappe was a 10/10! The best I have ever had, hands down! It also was a good price, for a very generous serving. We have lots of kids, and our oldest son loves coffee so much, he may as well have an IV going continuously. We bought a bag of his favorite type, dark roast, to give him as a treat. Cute, quaint,store roasted coffee shop in Downtown district of Cadillac, Mi. Easy listening- jazz music. Wi fi. , restroom. 2 lounge areas - one up in the front of the store with comfy couch, and easy chairs. Another lounging area in the back of the shop, with 2 loveseats, and a coffee table inbetween. 18 person seating capacity, with small 2 person, or bigger 4 person tables. Of course they have a small display with shop logo for sale❤️ Coffee Prices are medium range, 12oz is a small, around $4.00. 20oz is a large- approx. $6.00. They also serve bagels, bagel sandwiches, (turkey, egg, cheese ) yogurt, english muffins, cream cheese, or butter, orange juice, fruit, milk,half and half, heavy cream, oat milk, soy milk. This We stopped in at Chunky Bear Coffee Roasters in Cadillac for lunch and were so impressed! The space has such a cool vibe — it feels like a hipster coffee shop you’d find in a big city. You can tell there’s been a lot of thought put into the décor — it’s unique, comfortable, and very spacious, with a great atmosphere to relax or grab a meal.

We were in town working for Melvin Belk Roofing and decided to stop in for lunch. We ordered the grilled cheese and the turkey panini, and both were absolutely delicious! The prices were very reasonable, and the food quality was excellent.

We were there around lunchtime, so we didn’t get a chance to try the coffee this time — but we’ll definitely be back to do that soon!
