ConVida is a small, cozy gin bar in the heart of Caguas. It only opens three days a week, and with just five tables, reservations are a must. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and while the place was empty, all the tables were reserved, so we couldn’t try the food, though the menu had some interesting options. The cocktails are where ConVida really shines. The drinks are well-made, balanced, and presented beautifully. I recommend the Lavish Lavender, but the Hissy Fizz is another great choice too. I chatted with the staff since it wasn’t busy, and they were friendly and knew a lot about their drinks. They accept credit cards, but parking can be tricky with only street parking nearby. There’s a paid lot just a block away if needed. If you love gin, this is a great spot to check out.

We had a wonderful evening. The service was spectacular, from both the host (and owner) Jessica, and the Chef. They both came to our table to share details and history on the cocktails and dishes. Everything was delicious and perfectly done, our favorites were the Oh Jess cocktail and the Mediterranean Pizzeta. We also tried the shrimp and pesto dumplings, and the Salmon with tomato gnocchi. The ambience is very stylish, romantic and quaint, different from most lounges - a must try. We had the pleasure of visiting during their Alice in Wonderland themed decor and themed cocktails. It’s a gem hidden in plain sight. Thank you for the extra attention and for having us!

Went yesterday for the first time, and the experience I had was beyond what I expected. The cocktails and the ambience were amazing. The owner and chef treated us respectfully and were very friendly towards us. Thank you very much, Jessica and Tito, definitely will be coming back soon!
