Xatay — Restaurant in Caguas

The sushi rolls/section was pretty friendly and the rolls were delicious! Unfortunately, the boba/other side of Xatay was the complete opposite. The customer service was awful, we came a couple minutes early (unknowingly) and the lady at the front seemed super upset that we didn’t know. We didn’t mind waiting for longer, but when we came back at opening time she had the same rudeness as before. She spoke to us as if we were lesser, dumb and unbeknownst to most of the menu even though she saw us staring at it for more than 15 minutes. I ordered a passion fruit bubble tea, a fried cheesecake and the 3pc tenders. The tapioca balls tasted old, barely had any flavor (felt like I was chewing flavorless balls, no brown sugar taste) and was so little in comparison to the tea. The cheesecake seemed fine, although the presentation wasn’t the best, it was still good. The 3 piece tenders were okay, but oily and the fries were still slightly frozen on the inside (not fully cooked through). Overall I’d only recommend taking a visit to the sushi side and avoid...

First off...the is no cons. Having said that; The food is amazing, the atmosphere is family orientated, cozy, comfortable , clean, well illuminated, spacious. All the staff from entrance host to servers, bartenders, waitress/waiters are friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Im alergic to seafood and they have a menu for us!!!! Ask the waitress Nelly and Eme the manager (which i didnt know he was) they'll give you options to choose. Five STARS ALL ACROSS...

Last time the service was so bad. Asked me if a wanted chopsticks. I said yes and gave me fork (Qty1 for two service) the asked me for sushi sauce or Sriracha sauce.
