The menu says to let the staff know about any allergies. In fluent Spanish I explained and had an entire conversation that I cannot have any dairy, I ordered my drink with coconut milk substitution. When it comes out there is a piece of hersheys cookies and cream chocolate and small bits of it blended up. I then explained again that I cannot have milk. She then told us that there was a difference between the “Oreo” and “cookies and cream” shake. Why didn’t tell us that before I she already made the drinks and we paid for them? She did not offer an exchange or any other solution to the problem. She also said she didn’t know the bar had milk in it, admitting to fault. If an establishment is to have an allergen statement on their menu then it is their responsibility to train their employees accordingly.
