The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor. One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste. I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations. Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. On the evening of November 14, 2022 I called to ask when was their last seating as we had just arrived at the hotel next door. I was told the last seating was 9:15pm. The 2 of us arrived precisely at 9:15pm. The restaurant was empty. We were seated, handed menus and were immediately asked for our order. We replied that we needed a minute to read the menu. He stated that we had to order immediately as they close at 9:30. He hovered over us as we looked at the menu. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and main dishes. Our drinks came immediately, and within five minutes we received all of our food. The waiter and all the staff stood nearby lined up against the wall, staring at us while we ate. This made us very uncomfortable. In five more minutes, he came and placed our check on the table in a huff. Then he rejoined the staff lined up on the wall and they stood glaring at us with a disgusted look on his face. Five minutes later, the waiter came and asked us to pay. We were barely given 15 minutes to have our drinks and finish all of our food. Our bill was over $70 and we were expected to finish eating in 15 minutes while being hovered over and glared at!! This was the worst dining experience I have ever had! I have NEVER been treated this poorly. I told the waiter that it isn’t ok to pay $70 to be glared at while being pushed to inhale our food in 15 minutes. He angrily replied that they were closing. If they coudnt give us ample time to enjoy our $70 meal, they should not have seated us. Again, we did call ahead and were told the last seating was at 9:15pm. Read moreOrdered take out on 7/30 for 130$ at the end of the day. Both my husband and I ate it, went to bed and felt sick ALL night long. In the morning we both had diarrhea and felt weak. Took an entire day to recoup enough strength to function again. Called restaurant and was asked what we ate BEFORE ordering from a restaurant... I had breakfast at home and my husband skipped breakfast, so that was the ONLY meal he had had all day that day. When I asked for a refund of our money , another person took the phone and interrupting me started to question again and then told me that since no one else came by complaining, I just show a DRS note to prove that my last meal of the day made me THAT sick. I asked him if he thinks that I'm making up and lying about the whole situation, he kept insisting that it's food I ate many hours beforehand that's responsible for the resulting problem. Again, kept yelling over me and demanded that I show a note from the DR. Basically never actually speaking to me like a manager/owner operator should.
