Have eaten at Daisy Dukes a handful of times. It has never been great but for Caldwell, not bad. Burgers were great when they first opened. Lately the buns have been overcooked and the meat is terrible. I ordered a salad a couple of weeks ago with chicken. The chicken was over smoked and was like eating a piece of wood. It was terribly dry. Salad was decent, and the Ranch was good.
Today however is the last straw! I ordered a jalapeno sausage salad through the drive through. The sausage was like eating a large piece of Slim Jim. The salad was wilted and the tomatoes looked like they were cut with a spoon. On top of that the ranch dressing container had dried up potato salad on it or something, but it was nasty. I could not eat any of my lunch and lost my appetite.
I do not recommend eating here. This will be my last time.
Thank you,
So, a quick update: a friend of mine bought me a burger that was a double meat cheeseburger from here, and it was wonderful! The fries were the best part and I cannot say enough how well cooked and tasting the burger was. Will definitely try again considering this past burger. I have to give credit where credit is due. Must have had a bad cook on my past...

Read moreWent an hour before closing (this has happened to me plenty of times at any time of the day so I guess the time is irrelevant) got a chicken fried steak potato with sour cream, butter and cheese . Waited about ten minutes for it no big deal rather my food be fresh than old. Got home and the potato is so old/over cooked I don't think butter would help it even if they remembered my butter and sour cream that I asked for. Chicken fried steak was also a little over done. I was able to eat it this time but the last time I got it, it was...
