Denny's — Restaurant in Calexico

I recently visited Denny's in Calexico and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent experience I had. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I felt welcomed and taken care of by the friendly and attentive staff.

The ambiance of the place was cozy and clean, creating a pleasant environment for a relaxed meal. The service was fast and efficient, and my server was attentive to all my needs throughout the visit.

The variety on Denny's menu was impressive. There were options to cater to all tastes and preferences, from hearty breakfasts to classic and healthy dishes. I opted for the Grand Slam Breakfast and was blown away by the quality and generous portion of food I received. The eggs were perfectly prepared, the bacon crispy, and the pancakes fluffy. Let me start off by saying that I am a fan of Denny's but by far this is the worst Denny's I have ever gone to, the service was horrible. The food was mediocre. Firstly, we had to go and find our server be sure she never came back to take our order after she brought our drinks. I ordered Tilapia wish is fish and I understand it may take longer to cook but, my food came 30 min after my friends did and to top it off the fish was cold in the middle and the broccoli I kid you not was hard as a rock because it was still frozen. I was so hungry I just ate my plate and left the broccoli and decided to not make a big deal about it. We asked the server for the check and I swear we waited 40 min and she never came back. Went in early in the morning after a long shift in law enforcement. Waited to be seated for like around 5 minutes, keep in mind place was nearly empty. The moment a group of middle aged ladies came in. They were automatically greeted and seated before me. After being seated, I waited a couple of more minutes for someone to take my order. Order was wrong, I had asked for a food serving to be replace with something else and didn't get offer a refill or a server approach me. Only thing they did was come by to give me my receipt when I was not even half way done with my food and quickly took off. Terrible customer service. 0/10...
