Carnita's La Piedad — Restaurant in California

This review is based on the menudo. In my search for some good (I'd settle for decent) menudo. My husband and i decided to try La Pieded well it was the worst menudo I've ever had. Shouldve known when we got there the place was empty. At any good menudo restaurant there wouldve been some clientele but this place was empty. I cant even describe it without being mean.

Food was delicious, Tried the birria, shrimp coctail which was served on a plate with plenty of shrimp, also had there carne asada torta, they use a a whole slice instead of the usual bits and pieces you get else where. They seem to keep the place pretty clean. I have come here twice before but just to eat their carnitas with homemade tortillas.....Excellent. They will continue to have...

Definitely a “hole in a wall” for years I lived in this area and because my truck was getting serviced down the street i decided to walk here and get some breakfast and wow the green chilaquiles and steak plate served with eggs beans and rice was delicious 🤤...
