Grabbed a burrito. Sure, it’s like a newborn baby size, but half of it was fries and tortilla. It was decent and had flavor. Grabbed a medium coke, looked like a super small size. Maybe 10 oz? Up front pricing? Naaaah forget about it. You don’t need pricing on the menu. 15 bucks? of course! The cherry was the wait time as the drive thru while the cashier decided it was a great time to vacuum the place while the order was waiting and just “blah attitude “ salsa? We live near alpine and love the local Mexican food. We have tried this shop a few times and this time will be the last….We ordered 2 Calis and 1 B&C…I’m currently sick with the flu and had to ask my wife and kids if there cali is also tasteless and bland. They are pretty easy to satisfy but to my amazement they said there is no flavor, no spices…my wife said her B&C tastes like really old beans…she also told me they were not hot upon taking the delivery. Moving out here to rural east county, I never thought I'd find a go-to taco shop. Having lived in the southbay for most my life, where there's a taco shop at every corner, I was spoiled when it came to taco shop accessibility. But man! This spot makes some fantastic food!
