El Favorito Taqueria Cocina Mexicana — Restaurant in California

so I just went to this place to get me a pozole and it was just ridiculous how to begin with they served me that pozole in a small bowl kinda like a kids meal size, next I check and it only had 5 small pieces of pork but a bowl full of grain, so I asked the lady to have the cooks add more meat then she brings it back they only added 2 more really small pieces of meat, so I still wasn't satisfied so another lady said if you want more meat you have to pay for extra meat and at that point I said just give me my money back. I personally been eating at restaurants for brakfast, lunch and dinner since 2009. I hardly ever cook and always eat at restaurants so I know about sizes, portions, flavors, and prices depending on the different cities and let me tell you this people serve the portions super small as if the owner of the restaurant is going to take it out of their paycheck. I can't tell you about the quality or flavor bc I didn't even get to taste it, but I can tell you that it is a rip off just for the simple fact of the price vs size and meat portion and on top of that the other lady who wasn't even in the conversation to just intervene without been asked to just to kinda impose some kind of authority and attitude really sucks big time. I will 100% not recommend this place to anyone, just save yourself...

Wow. How to make it seem easy, but it is just done right. Walked in and we're greetedby the many large sideways TV monitors that are the memus. Decide on a couple burritos and the plate of Chile Relleno. We got the Supreme with chicken and everything. Te next burrito was just everything that my wife wanted which was rice, salsa, black beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. My Chile Relleno came with rice, beans (choose refried/pinto/black) and flour or corn tortillas. I got flour. We loaded up at the absolutely awesome salsa bar, a bag of chips and took it home. The food came so quickly that we were still packing our salsas up. The burritos were huge. We all had leftover portions so an early morning breakfast turned into a 2am snack. It was authentic and just extraordinary delicious! The cashier was a super polite and friendly girl. The prices were very fair due to the large portions and higher quality of their meals compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Just writing this review makes me want another dinner here so I'm going back tonight and will take pictures this time. Enjoy! Take a shot here, I hope that you enjoy it like we did. God...

I went to this restaurant recently—I think on a Friday. I sat down to eat. A group of Hispanic males were drinking beer towards the front, about 8 of them. One particular man kept repeating a bad word and was getting loud, the others laughing. I asked the waitress what was going on and she said they were going to speak to them. They did not. When I finished my food I went to the group and told the man who was cussing that he was being loud and saying bad words. He responded by saying that it was a beautiful word. The others just watched. I told him to be ware of his behavior and walked out. Today I went to that same restaurant and told the cashier about the incident and asked if I could get a free combination and I would pay for one. The message was passed to the manager and I was told no. I’ll not return to this...
