I dont know how this place has such high reviews but I just wasted $18 at this establishment and will never go back. I hope my review stays at the top so that no one wastes their money and their dreams of good Chinese food on this restaurant.
This may very well be the worst chinese food I have ever had. Normally. Chinese food is at least acceptable enough to eat it. Not this. Completely inedible. Disgusting.
I ordered the General chicken, and my husband ordered the orange chicken. Both of them tasted like they were battered in salt crystals. Not to mention, my chicken was burnt and so greasy that the coating dissolved on my tongue. Not a good taste at all. I asked for my sauce to be not spicy, and the sauce was both way too spicy and not good at all for reasons that had nothing to do with the spice.
I don't particularly care for orange chicken, but this one was particularly awful... tasted like orange tang, a lot of salt, and flour, leaving a fuzzy texture on your tongue.
I made the mistake of ordering rice and noodles. If I had ordered all noodles, I would have at least been able to eat that. Normally I love rice from Chinese restaurants. Not here. It's white rice that took a bath in oil with what tastes like an oriental packet from top ramen. No veggies, no egg. Nothing. Just rice. The noodles were the only thing that might have been good and were definitely edible with a really good sauce on them, (thick noodles, which I like) but they lost all points for the fact that there were zero veggies in there either. I found a tiny sliver of carrot, smaller than a tooth pick, and one chunk of onion, which leads me to believe it was cooked in a pan right after something else (nothing I ordered though... there were no veggies in any of my dishes unfortunately) which means that the pan wasn't cleaned. Which is gross.
I'm super disappointed and if I could go back and get my money back, I definitely would. Worst Chinese experience in my...
Read moreWe used to go to this restaurant twice a month on average from the time they open their doors until the Covid shut down. They were absolutely by far the best place around locally. Due to circumstances, I haven’t been able to get back to this place in years. I decided to stop by on my way home from work since my travels were taking me past the restaurant. What a mistake I made. I ordered a single person special number D and added a small order of foil wrapped chicken. It was $27. Had to throw it all away. Absolutely disgusting. The entrées had had so much oil it leaked through the container. The two prawns that came with the meal were dry, the foil wrapped chicken did not taste fresh or like foil wrapped chicken should taste. The rest of the food I could only taste the oil, the vegetables, the beef, the chicken, no flavor at all just oil. I would not have given this to a homeless person because I’m afraid they would’ve got sick. I’m not feeling too well myself right now as I’m writing this review stay away from this place. If you think this is good food, you have no idea what quality Cantonese food is. Panda express is better than this place. I only feel sorry for the family who migrated to this country and started this restaurant. Absolutely...
