Nine of us spontaneously decided to have dinner; the staff of El Palmar was gracious, warm, and efficient. They helped create a fabulous experience for our family gathering. The food is always delicious and well prepared and presented. A happy experience all around. Despite being a busy time of the evening, our wait was only a few minutes as they prepared a place for us. Such nice people!!

We revisited this happy place last evening, only with eleven people this time. The food remains authentic and excellent and is a solid delicious experience for guests. But, the service is even more stellar...just amazing choreography of perfect service delivering meals at the precise moment required...just amazing.

The ambiance is one of sincere and genuine graciousness and kindness...it is an echo of times long past in most restaurants when a "family" welcoming was the norm for many restaurants. El Palmar has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for over a decade. My husband and I have been coming here almost every Friday night since 2013, and his parents have been loyal regulars since the early 2000s - it’s truly a family favorite.

The food is consistently delicious, the service is warm and friendly, and it just has that comfortable, welcoming vibe that keeps us coming back. Whether we’re grabbing takeout or sitting down for a family meal, it always hits the spot.

Don’t skip the chicken flautas, fajitas, or the margaritas (I personally love the jalapeño one!). The chips and salsa are always fresh, and the portions are generous. El Palmar is a true gem, and we’re so thankful to have it in our lives all these years...

I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count. The restaurant is clean neat with super comfortable booths. The wait staff is phenomenal, nothing falls through their fingers. Now to the food one word describes it, unforgettable. I am not just talking about one item, I am talking them all of them and I haven’t even gotten the chips and salsa yet. Just sitting here writing this is making my stomach rumble and mouth water. I don’t usually recommend an entrée but you have to try the Basil Chicken, oh my! Now to the chips, I can’t get enough of them even when I can’t move. If you live in the neighborhood and haven’t gone, what are you waiting for? Definitely missing out. Stop in you will fall...
