Was out hunting for sbux alternatives. Thought I’d give DB a try.
First off, am super disappointed that the place is essentially drive through only. The place is popular with the crowd that likes that.
We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly host (order taker ). She was super helpful and welcoming us to our first visit. That was a plus.
We ordered the basics. A mocha and a latte. Then we waited and waited 5 minutes or so for the two cars ahead of us to clear. The super friendly at-window service was way too friendly for the people in front of us, even after getting their coffee a full on conversation continued for at least another two minutes.
We got our stuff. Honestly I didn’t find my mocha to be super high quality. The latte drinker wasn’t all that impressed either.
I don’t plan to come back. The place is definitely suited for a younger crowd unable to get out of their cars. But...
Read moreI went to this place in between 2:30 and 3:00 on Monday when it’s supposedly not that busy. And it wasn’t, there were couple of cars almost at the window, and one car in front of me. Three employees subsequently came out to talk to a person in that car, and he wouldn’t move even though there was no cars at the window anymore, and there were three cars waiting behind him including me. Not until I honked, and only after that he reluctantly moved to the window. But wait, it gets better - none of those three took his order until I honked for him to move. So it took them now more time to fulfill his order, and a girl at the window took her sweet time to talk away to the person in that car . I don’t know why he was so popular, my only guess that he was an employee also. I have never experienced a worse customer service than this. I will never go back to this location...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a Dutch Bros — specifically the location in Carmichael.
I waited 25 minutes total just to get a small Cocomo. First, 20 minutes in line, then another 5 minutes parked at the window while the baristas were too busy laughing, blasting music, and goofing off to acknowledge me. I’m not even sure if they were high or just completely unprofessional — but either way, they clearly weren’t interested in doing their job.
No greeting, no apology, no sense of urgency. Just a chaotic mess of noise, attitude, and zero respect for customers.
Dutch Bros — if this is your idea of customer service, I’m out. Never coming back here, and I’ll make sure my friends...
