I have been looking for a decent Chinese Food Restaurant for some time now and I believe I have finally found it. I actually had become leary of trying any new places due to one bad experience after another. I'm just glad I tried one more time.

The order of Sweet & Sour Pork was very tasty indeed but The Broccoli Beef was absolutely delicious! I went with an order of The Combination "Skinny Noodles" instead of The Chow Mien and it was amazingly good. (I would have to imagine the chow mien would be worth it as well) The order of 8 deep fried prawns were good but my only complaint about them is they were "slightly" over cooked but nothing worth actually complaining about and I might just give them another try again in the near future. Portion sizes were just about perfect (a lover of good Chinese food like myself always wants more... I like leftovers and I was able to achieve that goal) The staff was very polite and kind The Service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. *As crazy as this might sound, I plan to go back and leave a nicer tip and let them know I appreciate their efforts and look forward to enjoying more of their tasty dishes SOON!

UPDATE* I wish I knew what happened to the quality of The Green Jade. No more "Skinny Noodle Cow Mein. Girl tells me she's never heard of them having it. (Ok???... Not!) Portion sizes are way smaller and chow mein was actually Luke warm and "slimy" actually gross so I stopped eating it. Not really that impressed with the broccoli beef but even 20 mins. later it was screaming hot (impossible to place in my mouth) and broccoli so mushy it had to have been reheated in a microwave rather than cooked fresh. Too Sad.... I guess I'm back on the hunt to find a decent Chinese Food Restaraunt again. Thanks for the memories Green Jade Sorry... But this is...

I live in nearby and I like to support out local business. Today was my third time at Green Jade Restaurant. I can honestly say, the first 2 times, I was a big fan of Green Jade, the food quality and portion size, the lunch and dinner specials were great! Unfortunately, that ended today!! I ordered Green Bean Chicken for lunch today, unfortunate the beans were many days beyond usable, yet they put it in my stir fry. Upon my first bite, I had to spit the vegetables out of my mouth!! It was horrible!!! I called, the manager, he was rude and unapologetic. I drove back to the restaurant and return my pickup order. I stated politely, the first 2 times were good, but they had lost my business going forward because they tried using vegetables beyond aged! (to be fair, I gave them 5 stars for the first two visits and zero for the last, thus a average rating of 3 stars). But going forward, they lost my business! Aged...

I have been eating here since 1989, thirty years. The food is always consistent, not salty, and tasty. Since I have been eating there I think there have been only 3 owners. I gave up on other Asian restaurants, even frank fats, whose food is over salted and somewhat greasy. Green jade has a selection for all kinds of diets. If you need a change, just ask them. Louis is a waiter there. He is a jovial man and he sets the right tone for you to enjoy your meal. He calls me "channel 3" when I come in only because my first name is the same as one of their anchors. You will not be disappointed with your meal...
