Get It Twisted — Restaurant in California

Update: Coming back this way so I had to incorporate another Loaded Baked Potato Get it Twisted. And this time a Pina Colada Lemonade. Just as I remember it delicious. I'm surprised there wasn't a crazy line. Either, people don't know what their missing or my timing was impeccable. Walked right up and ordered. And maybe 5-10 mins later I was walking away with a mouth watering twisted potato. Same friendly service. Same amazing flavors. March 2025- I had trouble tracking the food truck down at first. Only being in town a few days I desperately wanted to try them after finding them on Google. It sounded so unique. I'm in an RV and usually don't unhook to drive around once I get to my RV Park but because they move around and have certain hours here and there it was necessary. On Friday, I drove to their McFarland location excited for the food but unfortunately they weren't open as stated. Their cook had an emergency and wasn't arriving until much later so I drove back to Bakersfield. Through Instagram I was able to verify their next location on Saturday. Which happened to be at some type of Market in a parking lot 20 mins away from my RV Park. I walked around the market and spotted the Get it Twisted truck open. So I went over to be first in line. I can't say enough about the top notch Customer Service I received as well as one of the most delicious potatoes I've eaten. Had the loaded baked potato twist. With the spices and the sauce and cheese, the entire thing is a party in your mouth and the lemonade is outstanding. I had Mango. I can't thank Get it Twisted enough for really making my day. Our kids LOVE this place, and what's not to like it's fried potatoes! Today, although it wasn't busy, it took longer than I expected to get the food I had ordered, but the gentleman working in the food truck went out of their way to make sure I knew they were aware of the wait time as well. Aaannnd then they got my order wrong! The two employees were apologetic and got my food out quickly checking along the way it was to my liking. I've eaten here many times and have had no issues but this was one of my best experiences here due to how they handled themselves. Not only will I keep coming here I may frequent this...

I didn’t think it was possible to improve on a fully loaded baked potato but Get It Twisted has done it! I was at Endeavor Elementary School for Trunk or Treat when I saw a truck pull in with Potato on a Stick advertised on the side. I ordered Baked Potato Style and it was a delicious spiral of potato, crispy on the outside and covered with mouth watering seasoning, green onion, nacho cheese & sour cream. I had mine without bacon but that’s available if you like. It’s a large portion of food, it comes in a tray that’s about 10-12 inches long.
