I ordered a chicken fajita plate topped with an enchilada and was immediately impressed by the feast before me. The sizzling fajitas arrived on a hot cast-iron skillet, featuring perfectly grilled chicken strips nestled among caramelized onions and vibrant bell peppers, all crowned with a rich sauce and a delicate sprinkle of crumbled queso fresco.
The plate was artfully arranged with Spanish rice glowing a warm amber color, alongside velvety refried beans topped with melted cheese. Fresh guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo added bright pops of color and texture. The accompanying corn tortillas came wrapped in foil, keeping them warm and pliable. They are very generous with the crunchy taco filling as well. 😋😋😋
Everything was exceptionally fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was beautifully balanced—not overly salty—and the generous portions satisfied without overwhelming. Their margaritas were spectacular, served in elegant glasses with just the right amount of ice, while the crisp house-made tortilla chips and vibrant salsa provided the perfect start to the meal.
✨⭐ The visual presentation was as impressive as the taste—a feast for the eyes 👀 before becoming a feast for the palate. 🤤 I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to make it a regular spot. The only minor drawback is the somewhat hard-to-spot sign outside, but that's insignificant given the culinary treasure that...
Read moreI have been a customer for a long time but recently I ate, there. Maria was our waitress, party of two. We sat at a corner booth, that was dirty with food, still on it. I took a napkin and cleaned the food and the table was so dirty you could see the dirt, on the napkin. I ordered my salad and one to go, with extra dressing. I got my bill, for $36.00. When I was paying, Maria informed me the total was $40.43. When I asked her why it was more, she informed me, "because you asked for extra dressing". I did not argue or feel bothered by it, I gave her my debit card. She felt the need to print up the receipt, showing the bill where she charged me the, extra dressing. She did not say anything, just set it on the counter. I looked at the bill and put it in my purse. She asked, " what are you doing", liked she was annoyed. At this point I was confused, as she did not explain herself. I signed the bill, did not leave a tip, put a zero with a line thru it, as is my right. I saw the amount of $40.43, on my bank on 4/13/22. On 4/15/22 the amount that cleared was $48.43, which means, Maria, gave herself a $8.00, tip, which is stealing. I have tried, numerous times to get a hold of the Owner, Bruce. Left numerous messages and he does not care. BEWARE when eating here. Pay with cash so these people do not have access to your bank account and help themselves. Will never eat...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Mexican food and flavor, then Hacienda is your place to go. They are conveniently located right off the freeway and near downtown. The staff are always warm, friendly, and courteous. We are frequent patrons of this place that we believe we have our own private waitress Jocelyn and waiter Christian. The chefs must have magical hands. Everything we've ever ordered has been cooked to perfection. My daughter has her favorite, the Carne Asada meal. A 10oz steak served with an enchilada. My husband loves their Tampiquena, my granddaughters favorite are the enchiladas, and I have a few like their Carnitas, enchilada salad, chicken tostada salad, and their menudo, with or without the pata. The adult beverages are tasty and the beer on tap is always cold. Their pricing is pocket friendly so it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg to enjoy a nice night out with the family. Their dinning area could use a remodel due to it being dated but honestly, that's not going to make the food any better. The chefs definitely deserve...
