Got here at 5:30pm on a Saturday. 20 min wait. There’s two registers. We knew what we wanted to order while we were in line, which made our check out so much quicker when we got to the counter. While the couple before us was still deciding on what to order when they got to the register. Tables are first come first serve and it was packed. There’s a line because the tables are full. But once we sat down, it took 10 mins to get our food. We got beef pho ($12) and beef Chinese drunken noodles ($15). My fiancé who is very particular with his pho and sensitive to msg, actually enjoyed the pho. He’s had it twice here and it was my first time. When the server brought the bowl out, I could smell the aroma. Then I took a sip of the broth and not bad. $12 price point is actually pretty good too. They also give a ton of noodles. It came with limes, bean sprouts and basil. We asked for an empty small bowl so that I could share. On the other hand, the drunken noodles were bland with no flavor. Basically just plain noodles and the chef forgot to add in oyster sauce and spices. I took it home and added spices myself. For water, they give out free mini Viejas water bottles. If you need take out containers, it’s on in the corner. Overall, don’t come during rush hour if you’re hungry. Otherwise, you’re expected to wait. Saw a lot of take out orders being prep too.

eaten here once, I may try again with something not noodles. this is am order at the entry, take a number, and they bring the food.....all at one time. note, and drinks, even water, is bottled. and pricey. place is clean, service pleasent. Food came fast (wasn't busy), hot, and looked good. I had Chicken Pad Thai and Lumpia. For a noodle bar....I would expect the noodles to be cooked right ....they were nearly mush and some were. flavor...mild at best. mild to low med heat. the amount of chicken was ok. sauce had nearly no flavor, watery, and very little....to be fair, given it was watery, you couldn't have much anyway. very little bean sprouts, and a lot of what I think was eggs...very particalized and the larger parts were mushy. It didn't taste bad...so 2 stars. I've never had mushy pad Thai...have now. the noodles were falling apart just getting them with the fork. not sure chopsticks would have been able to pick any of it up. Lumpia ...was ok. egg roll size and wrapper, but had a decent amount of meat and a good flavor. main issue is Lumpia are not meat egg rolls.... borderline 3, leaning to 2....if I try a non-noodle dish I might revise. for me, a 2 means I would not eat there again. 1 would be leave and eat somewhere else.

This location is inside the casino. The front desk employee was very friendly, greeting us & taking out orders. The orders here are done first. You pay and then self seat. They then bring the food to your table. Keep in mind it is not a table service restaurants there are no servers. We needed a few things like extra limes & to go boxes, we were willing to get ourselves no problem, but the employees on the floor made it feel like they absolutely did not want to help us. It was kinda awkward. Now about the food, it was very tasty big portions. The rice I didn't enjoy it was dry & stale. I had the lumpia for a started & a kung pao chicken type of dish. & mango pudding for the dessert. Keep in mind you orders first, then the comes all together start entree & dessert. To drink, I just had the free water at the casino. Nothing grabbed my attention on the menu. I really liked the inside & decor it was very modern, nice, warm lighting.

(Edited to reflect that the chef is ADAM, sorry!): The Ginger Noodle Bar is the Best restaurant at Viejas, hands down! Manager BK and crew (particularly waitress Christina and sous chef Kevin (who really “runs the place and keeps everything going smoothly”), and cook Andy and chef Adam) are AWESOME. This restaurant has absolutely the best service and best food in the casino. They are extremely attentive to the needs of customers (even though they are unfortunately short staffed, they make up for it in attitude and working hard to make sure customers are pleased!). The restaurant is always friendly and 100% worth the wait. I am always thrilled to eat there because I know I will have delicious food and amazing service. They really make me feel special when I visit (They make every customer feel like that customer is their number one priority). They have the most legit Kalbi short ribs (especially compared to the "Asian short ribs" at Jamul or the "Korean short ribs" at Barona, neither of which vaguely resemble Kalbi short ribs). Also great Egg drop soup, boba tea, and yummmmmy drunken noodles). They remember my order and know that I love their extra yummy crispy fried wontons (to go on their also delicious egg drop soup, but also just to eat alone because they're just that good) and they're always happy to give me some to snack on while waiting for my order to be put together, and throw in some extra when handing me the bag! So for any and all visiting Viejas, remember that, the GINGER NOODLE BAR IS THE BEST, and save yourself the time/suffering at the other places. Go to the Ginger Noodle Bar!! Don't go to the cafe. Service at the cafe is AWFUL. You may or may not get your food in 2 hours (literally) and it may or may not be right, not to mention just generally bad (4/5 of my orders there have been completely wrong). So go to the Ginger Noodle Bar because you will get your delicious food fast, hot, and RIGHT!!!! Gontonthr Ginger Noodle Bar! Service at the steakhouse is also awful. The food is definitely not worth the money and the waitresses disappear for 20 minute intervals (there's only like 10 tables, where are they going?!). However at the Ginger Noodle Bar they will basically wait on you hand and foot (someone is always available to make sure you are happy, and if for some reason you have an issue they will make sure that you're happy in a hurry!!) 5 star restaurant :). Be patient in the line and be rewarded when the food...

Worst experience i've ever had eating out and i eat out every day. Waited in line for 20 mins just to place order. Paid $35 for General Tso Chicken, Shrimp and a soda. We were given a number to place on the table. My friend's shrimp was delivered about 25 mins later. They were gonna wait for mine to arrive before starting to eat. Good thing i told them not to wait, as it took another 25 minutes for my General Tso Chicken to arrive. The Shrimp was very dry and so was the white rice. Very overcooked, how do you mess up white rice? When my General Tso Chicken arrived it was lukewarm and not very tasty at all. My white rice was also very dry. When my food was finally delivered, i asked the employee if it was normal for my entree to come 25 minutes after the person's i was dining with. I was informed that this is normal because General Tso Chicken is harder to prepare and that if we wanted to eat together we should have made a special request when we ordered? Really? All the food was on one check and we were sitting at the same table! Overall, a horrible experience. Food was very expensive, dry, and luke warm. And we waited forever for my food to arrive and was told that's normal. I will never go back to this restaurant. I've had much better General Tso Chicken as $5 lunch special at numerous Chinese Places. And they have the nerve to ask for a tip when you're ordering the food. I held out on leaving a tip when i ordered because i wanted to see what the food/service turned out like. This will be the only time in my life i didn't leave any tip on the table. I'm 41 years old and a generous tipper otherwise. I considered asking for my money back as the service and food was that bad. I was on a business trip and will be reimbursed, otherwise i would have been seeking a refund. Service was non-existent here, no one checked on us to see if food was ok, nobody brought silverware and we weren't told where to find it, i had to search it out on our own, and there was no chance of getting a refill on our drinks. It wasn't even the same person that brought our meals to the table. Who am i supposed to tip? The first person, the second person, or the pour soul who has to clean the tables? I'd consider tipping the cook but the food was horrible, worse than a chinese...
