I felt like eating a cheeseburger so I headed over to Tams burger joint on Lambert in the city of Whitter. The drive thru was backed up about 6 cars so I decided to head over to the Golden Ox. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers with extra pickles and a order of fries to share with my daughter. Got home and sat down anticipating a delicious juicy burger after a long stressful day but was extremely disappointed after unraveling the paper wrap from my burger! Cold, dry, old scrunched up lettuce 🥬 1 hard tomato 🍅 1 pickle 🥒 hardly any cheese, thin well done cold patty! Very disappointed the chef doesn’t take pride in his cooking! I rarely eat burgers because I try to eat healthy but once in a while I will treat myself. That was the third time I ate their food, “ Three strikes your out” California burgers in Montebello are the bomb! I worked there in 1980 and they were excellent back then and are excellent now!
