Food: The food at Habibi’s is nothing short of phenomenal. I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Shawarma, Honeycomb Bites, Pistachio Milk Cake, Strawberry Delight Cheesecake, Mint2B Iced Coffee, and two traditional Meat Pies. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The Chicken Shawarma was incredibly flavorful and tender, with spices that transported me straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. The Honeycomb Bites were a perfect sweet treat, and the desserts – Pistachio Milk Cake and Strawberry Delight Cheesecake – were decadent and rich, yet balanced in sweetness. The Mint2B Iced Coffee was a refreshing and unique beverage that perfectly complemented my meal.

The Meat Pies deserve a special mention. They tasted so authentic and traditional, it was as if my Palestinian mother had made them herself. This level of authenticity is rare and deeply appreciated.

On our way to Yosemite, we were looking for a place to pick our lunch from. This seem like a nice option given the rating. So we went ahead and asked for our usual order at any Mediterranean place, falafel plate and chicken donor kebab wrap.

There were very few people in the restaurant for food, most of them were sitting with the there drinks on the cafe side. The cafe seemed more popular. The ambiance of this place was okay. There was a bit of grocery section too, stacked with spices, deli items etc. a little unorganised but not unthinkable 😬, given that this place had a lot going on.

Food wise, it was a little underwhelming.

The falafels were unusually chewy and dry even after adding sauces, hummus salad and rice were good. the chicken wrap was okay ish.

The best thing about the place though was it’s location, especially for all the people headed into the park.

Overall an okay experience. Next time I would either like to stop here to try...

Me and my family travel a lot in business and vacation trips and while we were at Manteca in a business trip and we stopped by Habibi market where we met The Owners “Mr. and Mrs. Habibi” who welcomed us very warmly and provided us with the best Mediterranean, fresh food we ever had ❤️. We ordered their mouth watering chicken and beef shawerma sandwiches , salad, hummus, falafel and samosa. Every thing was fresh , delicious and more than perfect . We also bought some groceries while waiting for our food to be prepared infront of us . The store is very clean, the grocery items were very organized and easy to access, and the price were really cheap compared to other stores near by . Their fresh made bread , authentic olive oil , goat cheese and meat / spinach / and cheese stuffed pastries were priceless . I would strongly recommend this store to everyone visit Manteca or near by . It’s worth very penny.
