Jack in the Box — Restaurant in California

I usually only go through this Jack in the Box if I'm taking my wife to work and she wants to stop at the Starbucks next-door. This Jack in the Box always has an attitude, often gets the order wrong and gets mad at the customer for trying to get it corrected. For some reason they won't confirm the order or show it on the screen like other Jack in the Box's and will only tell you to pull forward and won't give you a total until you get to the window. I have called corporate several times, I hate leaving negative feedback but something needs to be done at this location, it is near a busy freeway that people usualy take to drive to Mojave or Las Vegas from Bakersfield, it is also near truck stops and can be a challenge to hear when trucks pass by, so understanding that needs to be...

Very disappointed in this location. Night shift Manager that is always working the window is very unprofessional. He doesn’t make eye contact or even turn his head his way when paying just puts his hand out. Multiple times when went he was too busy chatting with his employee instead of acknowledging the customer . Multiple times where he charged me extra for sause and didn’t give the correct amount in bag. Lastly I wanted to order the popcorn chicken meal because it was being displayed on the big sign above the order box. Manager said oh well we don’t have it no more and I asked why is it still be marketed and he said i don’t know. Just a bummer becaue I work late night and get off at 3-4am so most times I’m hungry. I wish there was another place open...

It was OK. We had no complaints regarding the food. We ordered burgers and the sauced and loaded tiny tacos. The food was hot and the quality was what one would expect for fast food. So food wise, it was an average meal from a fast food restaurant.

Their customer service could use some adjustments and possible staff training to make it better. The gal taking our order had the most difficult time getting our order correct when the order was not complicated at all. We scratched our heads about that experience. The staff was not overly friendly, but not the worst I've experienced, either.
