Such a disappointment. The food is great but the service is horrible. The girl in the picture needs extra training. Poor customer service skills. Took 35 minutes for them to come to our table and take our order. We would have left but my mom has a disability and it’s hard for her to walk so we avoided leaving to save her from having to find another place. It’s close to home so it was convenient. It also helped we were distracted within our conversation and didn’t notice it . This place has so much potential but they need better staff. When they first opened they had the best staff. Super friendly attentive and helpful. We use to come at least once a week. Definitely won’t be coming back soon. If anything I’ll probably just order to go. There were only 4 tables and 2 servers 1 cook and the dishwasher. So it wasn’t busy. If they were not so wrapped up on their phones and in conversations with each other they could do their job. The cook was coming around and delivering the food that was just sitting on the kitchen window. Definitely ruined Father’s Day. Our server took our order wrong and half of the food came 40 minutes later. My husbands food whom we were there to celebrate didn’t even get his correct after being 40 minutes late. Everyone had finished eating. We never received our appetizer or desserts either. Such a disaster! And to top it off, no manager onsite. Such a shame! As a fellow business owner I would invest more time in getting a better trained staff to trust and run my business when I’m not there. They had the potential to make $200 easily on us easy but we cancelled the items we never received. Imagine how many times that happens a week? It can add up real fast....

Thought I would give this fairly new restaurant a try and I wasn't disappointed! As I looked around this place has been completely remodeled and is beautiful it seems to be ran by a family which is awesome I always pull for the little guy! I have two suggestions right off the bat: They need to install fans by the entrance and exit doors so the flies don't come in the restaurant dining area these high-powered electric fans prevent flies from coming in. Secondly, They should have a sign when you enter "Please seat yourself" me and my wife were waiting by the cash register for someone to come and take us to a table finally a waitress said "You can sit wherever you want" a sign would be very inexpensive and instead of people like me waiting to be seated they would go seat themselves. As far as the service and the food it was awesome! Very reasonable prices and very tasty meals reminded me of home cooked meals! They have a great senior Citizens section on the menu with very good prices and large portions! Everything is seasoned perfectly! I got New York steak and eggs with potatoes, biscuits and gravy and it was delicious! Steak was cooked perfect, eggs were delicious and the biscuits were soft I know they make them there I could tell by how fresh and soft they were, the gravy was amazing very flavorful! They have a very wide variety of different items on the menu including Mexican food in which I will try next time! They even serve menudo on the weekends! I went in on high hopes with this place after my father speaking highly about this location. However, the service was pretty bad.

First issue was the use of utensils. I had ordered a green tea for myself and it came with a spoon already inserted in the tea. I pulled out the spoon to discover that it was covered in cheese and some green herb. I had not gotten my food at this point. Another one of my party had also gotten a dirty spoon. We brought this up to our waitress , who instead of replacing our drinks or apologizing for the dirty spoons , nonchalantly brought us new spoons. I didn’t drink any more tea.

Next was our meals. We were a pretty big party of eight. No issues with a wait time. However my issue was the time served in between. My dish, and my partner’s dish arrived about 10 minutes before my father’s and his wife’s. Then between my dish and the final dish was a whopping twenty minutes. And even then we were missing items. Almost all of the party were missing their sides of biscuits and gravy. We had to remind the waitress over and over what we were missing.

Lastly, the four new york steaks were ordered were cooked incorrectly. I had not ordered them, though the people who ordered them complained that they ere incorrect.

I really tried to be positive about this place, but after repeated issues with the place , I think it’s best to not give it another go. I could hardly recommend this place and at best, a last ditch effort for food if you literally couldn’t get a table at the Denny’s nearby.
