Joe's Bar — Restaurant in California

Joe's bar is just about everything I've ever want a bar. Some people might say it's a dive, but I LOVE IT. It is NOT a dive. Clean, and you get served fast. I just LOVE bars that are simple and straightforward. No pretense. No BS. I was disappointed that their sign had lost its tipped and flashing martini glass. The lady bartender told me it had fallen off. I absolutely ADORED the tipped and flashing martini glass! I want to get a GoFundMe page to put it back up there! Great karaoke there! Not a long wait, good sound system, really nice dj. Name was Kurt I believe. He another nickname, also. "Hickey." Pool tables. I didn't use them but they were there. I will DEFINITELY go there again. My kind of place. Nice people. GOOD PIZZA, TOO! WHAT...

Was passing through Boulder Creek with my partner and decided to have a walk around. Passed by Joe's and peered in the window, but decided to keep on walking, wary of time. One of the regulars rushed out and told us to come on in and have a drink. Boy am I glad we took him up on his advice! Barkeep was very friendly and I tried a local lager. Pool and darts in the back for those that want an activity with their drink. A really great and authentic bar that matches the charm of the state park surroundings. Felt very welcome as a visitor :) The highlight of my trip over to California. Cheers...
