I'm still not impressed. They need to give the hard workers more credit. I considered working here when homeless, however... Managers DO seem to treat their employees badly... And hire more female or simply younger Latin(as/os) more than ANY other demographic. They hired a middle aged Latina looking lady and a mature aged looking white lady once. "Once" .... Also... It seems they did NOTHING about the older custodial man who insisted on cleaning the bathroom while I was yelling and screaming from the toilet that someone was in the stall after he tried forcing it open!!!! I should have called the cops, but my family and I were homeless, I was pregnant (and wasn't able to terminate or adopt out for reasons most people just can't seem to realize... Like not having a safe or consistent or sufficiently sanitary place to recover from a termination operation for 3-7 days, or no one wanting to adopt an homeless woman's baby if a healthy alternative is available... Anyways...) So calling the cops wasn't an option. The supervising manager at the time made it clear that I legally COULD, but they'll "talk to him, and you can't have all this stuff in here, did you remember I told you that last time?" Pointing to the stroller packed with belongings for 2 adults, 2 kids and surviving a cold night with unpredictable weather, she was walking away never offering consolation by free food, report form as required BY LAW even though i pointed it out to her... And i requested it 3 hours before she finally spoke to me ... And all day she didn't speak on our belongings that only she has requested be left outside, even when the dining room is empty! THIS SITE NEEDS TO POST A TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CALL WHEN SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG!!! Many times I got sick here before and after remodeling... Often after i tried pointing out a hazard to management. But no one listens to the young pregnant homeless girl who actually drove in business by panhandling on the median right there... Anyway. This place is still under her VERY UNETHICAL and actually ILLEGALLY ENFORCED management. HEY CORPORATE!! SEND IN SOME SECRET SHOPPERS!!! It I'll send in the news... They've been interested over the years... And now I've got two major papers asking about my experience with fast food...
Read moreI juat ordered from your app and it says WL53 and was supposed to pick up at Bailey Road, Bay Point, CA. I redeemed 6,000 and chose a Happy Meal.
Now when we mentioned the code in the Drive Thru, the guy said he cant find the code. We drove through the first window and the cashier said that he still couldn't find the code and so he advised us to go to the second window and look for the manager. So we drove through the second window and we were looking for the supervisor or manager and so the 3rd guy said that we must go through the whole drive-thru process again and we said that the 2nd guy said to go to the second window and talk to the manager and so that guy said that we just go down and talk to the manager.
I went down and talked to the manager and said that the code wouldn't reflect our order and so I think I know what went wrong because the email receipt confirmed that the pickup was at the Pleasant Hill branch but it's clear in the app that I showed the manager that the pickup was at Bailey Road and so they said to cancel the order. There was another girl, she said to cancel the order and I was like, what if that's my last money? How can I place an order again? So really bad feedback for not just McDonald's Bailey Road but the rest of McDonald's because of your system bug.
I’m redeeming a Happy Meal. It's for my son. It's his last day of school and I'm going through a lot because I have not been allowed to work for almost a month now and so redeeming it was sort of like a win for me and a win for my son but no, you made it too bad McDonald's just because of your system glitch and I really have been loyal with you ever since. You really failed me and my son. You failed my family and so now, I'm just going to wait for the refund within 1 to 7 days. I find it really unfair. It's not my fault. There was even no apology from the branch itself. McDonald's Bailey Road sucks!
No assistance or empathy from the crew/manager. All they cared about was making money I guess but not really customer...
Read morePerhaps it is the location but I've never been in a McDonald's that made me feel like I was doing something wrong for being there. I experienced the following:
My total was less than 10 dollars and yet every bill I had was checked against the light.
I was only allowed 2 ketchup packets for an order of large fries
When I asked to you the restroom (it was locked) I was given a once-over and questioned if I planned to be in there a long time. It made me feel very uncomfortable. After I left the restroom another teenage-aged customer ducked in before the door locked. and employee saw this and loudly pounded on the door until the poor kid peeked his head out. He was made to leave immediately.
Lastly, my fries were dead cold. Every other time this has happened I let it slide and make due with the cold fries. This time I was curious to see how the request would be handled, and brought the order back to the front. The manager came over, glanced at the receipt, and stated they were cold because the order came out 6 or 7 minutes earlier. Now, this was my fault for not mentioning the temperature sooner (I noticed as soon as I received the fries) as my explanation thst they were cold when I got them sounded weak in the face of the challenging state from the manager. Embarrassed, I left...
