Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in California

We live local and we love the pizza here, however,,,, every single time we go in, there is work being done, mopping cleaning Etc, and the employee stops doing the cleaning to take the money and then make the pizza, with the hands that were just mopping. Dirty hands touching my food makes me feel sick to my stomach. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, something like this happens. Yesterday my husband and I went in and the female employee there was under the counter doing something with gloves on. She stood up to take our order, did the money transaction and went straight over and started making the pizza, still with the same gloves on. I asked if she could put on clean gloves since she had just been cleaning and she said that she hadn't been cleaning. She looked at me like she was not happy that I said anything and so I apologized and she looked miffed. She told me that if I wanted her to, she would change her gloves. I told her not to worry about it. We went and sat down and the whole time I was worried that my pizza was being made with dirty gloves. We keep going back because my husband loves the pizza which is delicious, l just wish the employees would have to take germs...

Well usually I am a huge fan of Mountain Mikes franchises. I remember as a kid driving 2 hours to have a slice. Now here we are post Covid and locations making it more difficult than ever before to order pizza in store and making “deals and coupons” only available online and rarely assigned to this stores area. The staff tries to be helpful. But really the owner needs to think more about the impact Covid has had on his business and the community. The pizza at this franchise unfortunately, is not good enough to keep putting up with the hassles. I take my business to a more local established business in town. They purchase their meats from the local butcher and the dough is handmade how Nona would have wanted. I’m sorry to this franchise I won’t be ordering pizzas anytime soon from them. I’d rather make the drive to Sac. Or the local place down the street from there. Thanks for trying to do good in the community but falling short as so many large...

More foam than beer and they left our pizza sitting on the counter for so long it wasn't warm anymore. Got a discount but the workers in this location aren't happy to be there. Sat inside for 25+ minutes and called ahead 20+ minutes before that. They gave us a discount but we aren't coming back to this location. One employee complained that they were "slammed," but the employees were all relaxed with no rushing, they only got 2 phone calls while we waited, there was only one other small family inside at the time, and only one doordash guy came in to pick up an order to go, the to go order from the doordasher was only one pizza and our order was only one pizza. I'd hate to be there when they are actually slammed - do people have to wait 2 or 3 hours for a single pizza when all the tables are full of customers? No wonder they don't have any business on a Saturday...
