Munnerlyn's Ice Creamery — Restaurant in California

I have stopped in randomly over the past 8 years and it never disappoints. The people are fun, attentive, and ask questions to help give you the best suggestions. And at least in my experience, they are right every single time. Or all the flavors are delicious. There is always something new and different and worth trying. I wish I could remember all the previous flavors, so I could mention them but I can’t so I’ll just comment on the most recent 2 that I took home - Peach (if you like strawberry ice cream and you like peaches and think that might be just as good in ice cream, you’re right, it really is, and they knew it and did it better than anyone else) and then there is Fluffanella. They had me at ‘marshmallow base’. That’s where I stopped listening and said ‘yes please’. Fair warning, it might set a future standard...

Meh. I probably won't return. We took the kids for the first time and it wasnt an experience I'd expected given the reviews and constantly full parking lot. The two girls working were not friendly or helpful. Seemed more annoyed than anything that my kids couldn't read the sloppy handwritten flavor tags. When we ordered what we wanted they asked us if we wanted something different. It was weird. The inside is REALLY small and dark and uninviting. Staff was also uninviting. Couple handfuls of average flavors to choose from, but as stated, the handwritten tags were difficult to read and the girls weren't helpful. Lots of parking and outside tables. The ice cream itself was good and creamy. Cones were ok, one was stale. The prices are high but I'm not sure they're any different than 31 flavors or other ice...

Used to stop here once or twice a month, would bring friends and faimly by when they where in town. One day after a faimly member had passed i was getting ice cream to cheer everyone up. I wanted a quart of ice cream 11$ but was told i had to get 2 pints 17$ if i wanted thet much. asked why i had to pay 6$ more for the same amount of ice cream and they said because they didnt have quarts premade. i asked the young lady behind the counter to ask the manager why this is and she rolled her eyes and went in the back.I heard who she said was the owner laughing loudly at the question and i was told take it or leave it.
