Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in California

Very dissapointing experience. I show up at 430pm to try the new vegan Flatbread & they tell me they have their ovens turned off? They don't close until 530pm, what is up with that? Never going back. I was excited to try the new vegan Flatbread but clearly had to give my business somewhere else. In addition, I arrived after trying the Folsom location because they were sold out. Even called before hand to make sure they were in stock and they said they were. Ridiculous. Get your act together Peet's. For such a big corporation you have no idea what you are doing. Would rate zero...

Okay, time for an updated review unfortunately. I have been a Peet's fan for over 20 years and the coffee used to be absolutely the best. The coffee is now very hit or miss (great or absolute dog crap) but for the price I am sorry this is now just unacceptable. The bait and switch with the menu now is just too much. Now the only price that is shown is medium at $3.85 and the large is $4.20 for a large dark roast coffee? I now go to Starbucks where at least you get an average dark roast...

This is my favorite Peets in the whole Sacramento area. The staff are always on it. They are fast. They are nice. They genuinely make a coffee shop feel like it's what a coffee shop is supposed to feel like. Clean, nice, chill, low-key but efficient. The only thing I wish they could improve on was the seating options. They just got rid of their booth options and it makes me hecka sad. :( I like cozy seating and wish they were open later.
