Great pizza and service. Very different kinds of pizza that work well. A must try when in the orcutt area. This place just gets better everytime I go. Chicken Picatta! Off the hook. Very good. All pastas are excellent. Also get the meatballs in the vodka sauce. Just had the vodka sauce with peppers and sausage, really good. Also you can get any pizza, pasta style. Try it, take all ingredients from the pizza and pair with a pasta. Of course no pizza dough. Awesome. Such a great place to eat and hangout. They have cool things coming.

So tonight I had the New Yorker and the Hot Honey. The pizza amazes me all the time. I had a chance to talk to the pizza makers and one guy had been there since they opened. The conversation with these guys makes the food taste so much better. If you get a chance to talk to the people making your food, it makes the experience really fun. I dont want to get a table and not be able to be a part of the cooking process. My advice is talk to people, have a good time. I'd your on the fly and never been here, open up and taste what you can. Such good food.

I just had the steak sliders and OMG they are good. This slider is a must try, very tender and not like a tritip sandwich. This melted in your mouth. A very good sandwich. They also have a new soppressata pizza which I didnt try but next time. Get into Bello Forno it's a must, great atmosphere, great people and staff. Good things are coming so stay tuned. Excellent. I ate here for the first time about 2 years ago with my sister for her birthday. From memory their pizza is very good.

One night about a month ago I had really wanted some spaghetti and meatballs and so I thought about going to trattoria uliveto. Unfortunately (well, fortunately because after eating there finally their spaghetti is not good. You can look at my review on them separately) they were closed for remodeling and so to pizzeria bello forno I went. Now I eat here at least twice a week.

The spaghetti and meatballs is around $17-18 after tax and you get a few pieces of bread with it. The bread has a nice sear to it and seems to have an olive oil drizzle on it. Whatever it is, it's awesome. I always ask for extra bread. The first time they gave me a bunch for free, and now every time thereafter they charge me an extra $2 which is totally fine. The bread is delicious. This time I asked for a roll and they asked if I wanted a baguette. I misunderstood thinking it would just be a small piece of the baguette like they did one of the meals, but no it's a full on huge piece of bread haha. It was an extra $4 for the baguette.

The spaghetti has a nice firmness to it, and the meatballs have an absolutely amazing flavor to them. Their sauce is also quite good, although I'm not a huge fan of big tomato chunks and this can have some chunky bits to it. I just push those to the side and eat them with the bread.

Follow up review : Hopeful that a return visit would improve my opinion of PBF. Sadly, this was not the case this establishment is poorly managed. The staff appear overworked only two waitresses. We weren’t allowed to sit outside because the area reserved for another party that wouldn’t arrive for another two hours not that we were going to take that long to eat lunch. The inside was very noisy with the cooking staff making way too much noise with clanging the pots it was hard to have a conversation. The service took way too long to take our order, to serve our food, to bring us the check. It all took about two hours, which is not surprising why they wouldn’t put us outside after all 😂. Also the bathroom did not have any toilet paper and when I mentioned that to the cook because the waitress were too busy, he just ignored me. My wife gave the other lady waiting some Kleenexes to use. I don’t know if they ever put toilet paper in the bathroom? This place is really gone downhill. At least the food was good. We used to love this place but now I wouldn’t recommend it! The pizza here is great and the atmosphere is nice but I have to say their hours are somewhat limited and lately the service has been a little off.
