Oftentimes we patronize a small business and really enjoy it but fail to tell others about it. Telling others helps sustain them in a challenging environment so please join me in sharing your positive experience so they will be blessed with good fortune. I met Carrie, the owner, the last time we visited after driving 30 miles from La Mesa. She is shown in the picture I uploaded. She is an amazing person! Loved hearing about her journey in establishing this place. My husband absolutely loved the Cranberry Walnut Bread I had picked up a few weeks back and we went back for more. I also bought a slice of quiche to take home (delicious) and a chocolate croissant (just the right blend of flaky, yet soft) and a freshly baked loaf of sourdough. Everything we had was amazing. She obviously takes a lot of pride in what she makes. She has hired some sweet employees that have waited on us in the past, especially Mylie who was a big reason for my return. As perfect as I had hoped! I went in for my first visit, which was too long coming and I'm kicking myself for not having made trying this place out a priority sooner! I went in for a little something sweet and not only found the MOST PERFECT DECADENT cinnamon roll EVER, but also IRISH SODA BREAD! Yes, ..... real authentic Irish soda bread AND they were both pure heavenly deliciousness. Great pricing, more than fair - a steal actually! The staff were friendly and great; Darcy was a true delight to meet! Warmed and iced my roll up real quick and THANKFULLY its clear they did NOT use a microwave (Amen to that!)
