Mi Casa Reveles Mexican & seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in California

Victor waited on my family last night. If I owned a restaurant, I would want him to be my head waiter. This was only my second time coming to this restaurant, and unfortunately it will be my last. I hope victor is not the owner. Victor has the skill to get a job anywhere.

The restaurant was incredibly hot. There is no a/c. We powered through that. The back of the house is very dirty. I had to take my little girl to the bathroom and I was totally repulsed. To top it off, all of our food was spoiled. The guacamole was fizzy like it had been in the sun. My daughter grabbed a mouth full from a side of cheese and barfed it up, the sour cream was spoiled, and the meat was too. I paid for soft drinks because I felt pity on the place that is clearly struggling. Anywhere else, I would have been so upset that I probably would have started breaking things.

Victor went to talk to the cook. At first, I wanted to join in and make the chef eat what he plated. I’m glad I didn’t. I’m a kinder, gentler person than I was when I was younger. The folks at the table around the corner from us were regulars and they asked us if we noticed anything wrong with the food. We were all disappointed.

Moments later, a group of four arrived and were promptly greeted with menus, chips, and salsa. We couldn't help but feel overlooked and neglected, our hunger growing as we waited in vain. Disheartened by the lack of attention, we made a swift decision to seek solace elsewhere.

With a skip in our step, we made our way to the beloved El Michoacan, where the warm embrace of hospitality and the tantalizing aroma of authentic cuisine welcomed us home. Delicious food, amazing service! Everything was super fresh. The chips came straight from the fryer/oven and were toasty warm! Loved the salsa and guacamole as well. We ordered the Molcajete with Chicken and Steak as well as tacos and tostada. The meats were juicy and well seasoned, and the bean jar dish on the side was a perfect pairing.

Sergio was an amazing server and very helpful with ordering! He even brought free flan, fresh from the kitchen. We also overheard the famous Victor helping other customers, and he is very friendly and funny as the reviews say.
