Ramona Family Naturals Market — Restaurant in California

Unpleasant experiences with recent employees. I usually really do love coming in for their amazing salads but recent events has made it hard for me to be a customer . I have hearing loss time to time in one ear due to a chronic ear infection that flares up so I miss things on my left side . I was ordering a smoothie when the employee stated something and I entirely missed what she said . I said “one moment please “ because I was going to turn around so my good ear could hear. I’m not sure if maybe I missed something , but the employee responded very visibly agitated and stated “ I was just telling you the options” and walked away and rolled her eyes. I didn’t know what to do after that so I just walked out. Additionally I've noticed I do get followed quite a bit in this store. I don't want to assume anything but I do think there's nothing that would make me stand out as someone who would steal as I'm dressed usually very professional and put together • That same week I had my card cancel on me and I informed the employees that I would go back to my car and get the correct card. When I returned she stamped my food to get my salad. The gentleman at the register did not believe me and really did accuse me of being dishonest which was very disappointing and unfair to me . I'm very shy so I really struggled with the accusation at the time but it has ruined my experience with this store. He said they told him they would double stamp the card which isn't true because I was there and went back to check me with the staff. It was very embarrassing to be accused as there was many people around me. Of course at the end they stated I was clear...

I don't typically leave reviews but I must share how wonderful this place truly is!! I love all the organic/healthy options that are available here. But what I love the most is the customer service you receive while shopping EVERY SINGLE TIME!! You get 110% customer service from every sweet employee. That is hard to find today at any store for the most part these days. It doesn't matter if I have one bag or five they help me out to my car without me asking. Usually I have a toddler with me who they give little treats (which makes her day). Today it was raining, they as usual helped me to the car and also held an umbrella open for me. I'm no one special, but this place truly makes everyone feel special and I appreciate it, So a...

I actually really LOVE this market BUT they have a sign at the register that says or EBT system is down. When I asked when it would be back up the owner said probably never. I was caught off guard by the tone and slightly embarrassed I even asked. So my thought maybe you should change the sign to we do not accept EBT. Staff told me apparently he tried one day to get it to work and spent a couple hours on the phone with them but could get it resolved.

Bummer that if you have EBT you can’t enjoy supporting a mom and pop market…at least not as much as I would like to. It would be nice if they made it a priority to fix it or tasked someone to do so.
