I ordered their wet burrito with green sauce, salsa on the side. Their salsa and chips are fire. Both homemade 👍👍 Their salsa is super good, I thought it was slightly spicy but edible. Their salsa is not at all oily, not salty or too watery. My husband is white he thought it was spicy and couldn't eat it but he did try it with one chip. He did eat all the chips though ☺️ He preferred their green salsa over their red. I honestly didn't try the green one but I had green sauce on my burrito, if it's the same sauce than it's fire🔥 I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the food so much I ordered the same thing two days in a row half was my dinner, the other half my breakfast. Their beans and rice are authentic 5/5 I only give the overall review 4 stars because in my opinion the burrito could be a little bit bigger, a bit fatter. I'm use to BIG burritos and I felt it could fit more frijoles y arroz. Their carne asada is nice and tender not salty or dry. Their tortillas were also cooked good and tasted delicious. I love Mexican food and I especially love burritos. Thank you San Marcos! I will be back at least twice a month. I plan on trying a burrito not wet from them someday in the near future. My husband ordered their tacos and I think they make homemade corn tortillas, they definitely did not come doubled and they were white corn. They broke apart really easily. I appreciate that they put onion, cilantro, and salsa on top of the tacos. It seemed like a family run restaurant. The husband appeared to be taking the orders and making the food as the wife charged and handed out the order. Very authentic I appreciate places like this. I'm glad even though my husband is an English speaker he was treated with respect. No offense I am from further down south were every restaurant speaks solely Spanish. Where he felt he wasn't always treated the best. They also put avocado in their...
Read moreEdit: As this restaurant'scustomer base has increased, the restaurant not increased it's staff ( owner, wife, and 1 cleanup person I believe) and thus the food and service have suffered majorly. The food tastes different every time I eat here these days and some days good and some days not so good and the same dish will also taste differentas well, food never tastes the same so you don'tknow what flavor of the samedish you will get on any given day.
You have been warned ⚠️ Do not order take out here- I have ordered take out 3 times this year and all 3 times most if the food was missing an important ingredient or salsa or fixings were forgotten and I had to drive back all 3 times for food that should have been there to begin with.
The best Mexican food in Manteca. I like the posole, menudo, super tacos, Chile colorado, and their egg/bacon/pancake breakfast...
Read moreTried this place after reading all these great reviews...Gotta say from the experience my family and I just had I can't agree with any of them..Ordered three shrimp cocktails and they were all different with the only common factor being that they were bland..tasteless and over-priced..also ordered 4 carnita tacos ..What we got was something that looked and tasted like left over pork chops chopped up and fried til they were dried out and not pleasant to the taste buds..You would think that if a place takes the time to have home made tortillas THEY WOULD CARE about what they put on them..In the end the only thing that got full was my garbage can ...cause none of us finished their food. You want a recommendation TAKE A HARD PASS ON THIS PLACE...Spent 60 dollars on dinner only to disappoint my family and leave them with a lost appetite from the bad taste of...
