Update: Disappointed in Starbucksā New Water Policy
As a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years, I was shocked to learn they no longer offer complimentary water unless you make a purchase. When I politely asked for a cup, the cashier rolled her eyes and smugly told me it was the CEOās new policy, then snarkily suggested I buy a bottled water instead.
Starbucks built its reputation on community and customer loyalty, but this policy sends the opposite message. A simple gesture of goodwill costs them next to nothing, yet speaks volumes about how they value their customers. Many local coffee shops still get this, so thatās where Iāll be going from now on.
