Tacos Las Salsas — Restaurant in California

I have been here 3 times, I got some Al Pastor Nachos that were pretty good, the meat was lower quality and too fatty in places but overall it tasted good.the second time I got some menudo and it was really good, they only give you two tortillas which is a bummer but it was good. The 3rd time wi be my last time, I invited my parents and I had enchiladas, my mom had pozole and my dad had carnitas, my mom found a fly in her pozole, this means the whole pot is contaminated by this fly, a misstep but not enough to leave a negative review. Mistakes happen and I understand that. A few moments later I but down on a rock that was in my refried beans. These rocks are sometimes found when you buy beans in bulk and they have to be sorted out, I have seen my mom do this several times growing up. What this shows me is there is a real lack of standards at this restaurant. The fly in the pozole can happen anywhere, but any respectable establishment would throw out the entire pot to ensure that if there was any other bugs or floating bits of fly they wouldn't be served to a customer. It's a hit to a small business to throw out a popular item, but any good business owner knows that quality and cleanliness are the paramount in a restaurant and you can not allow financial issues to compromise them. The rock in the beans assured me that whoever is working in the kitchen is not paying attention and does not posses a high standard and the most menial of tasks like sorting beans are not done well. It's a real shame too because this place has potential to be very good and Rosedale desperately needs a quality Mexican restaurant, this however is not it and I wouldn't recommend...

Myself and wife continuously come here for great tasting authentic food which is absolutely fantastic and have our favorite waitress "Elizabeth." This young lady is Absolutely, wonderful waitress and absolutely sweet but on one occasion last week she was not working. Our waitress ended up being a lady named maya. If I hadn't actually eatten at this facility imperious times before this would have definitely ruined my view of this restaurant and never returned. she rushed our order, hot the order wrong, then to top it off blamed the order being wrong on the customer and said well you didnt tell me you didnt want that on your food I'll go check the ticket.. she checks the ticket [which she wrote] and rolls her eyes and said in Spanish yeah it wasnt my fault it was theirs. So she takes the order back corrects it and charges for two separate plates and got the order wrong the second time. After Address making sure yet again. She catches an attitude says well, do you want to write it down for me? So that we can get it right Exactly where you want instead of having to run back and forth to my cook he is busy. I was totally embarrassed becuase We had talked so highly about this resturant to our friends that we had brought with us. instead our friends look at us and said God you guys come here all the time? There really rude I rather go down the street to chuys! 2/13/20 update: went back tonight to beat the Valentine's Day rush & enjoyed the Fajitas Trio platter. Probably the best I've ever had! This was easily enough food for 3 people with additional tortillas. The white meat chicken was grilled perfectly, not dried out. The whole platter was mostly beef, chicken and shrimp, very little onions & peppers. Another GREAT dinner here!

This place is AWESOME! Authentic Mexican food, homemade by hand tortillas, chips and salsas, EVERY THING cooked to order, made fresh served hot! Tacos Las Salsas is the real deal. You'd best come hungry in order to fully enjoy and appreciate the cuisine here. You'll find yourself still eating long after you're full! It's a small place in the corner of this little shopping center with a full parking lot of people inside enjoying their breakfast lunch or dinner. I've been several times at various times of the day and they STAY busy! Don't let that deter you, the staff here are smooth, fast, efficient and most of all friendly. The menu has pictures of most of the dishes they serve but there are so many, you'll be hard pressed to make a decision. The huge portions are all reasonably priced, you will easily get more than your money's worth. I can't say enough good things about Tacos Las Salsas but I can tell you you're missing out if you haven't tried this restaurant. Check out the pictures, see if they don't...
