It was a very long trip in getting here. This restaurant serves a variety of Mexican food with some added flare when my family comes over and takes things over to dine. Days in Bakersfield are generally nice even in the winter because of all the technology, air conditioning, and well-prepared food, and Los Hermanos provides a nice bite for to go or comfort inside the lobby. Cheeseburgers are made to order also and come with delicious vegetables and ketchup, along with a thick coating of cheese laid over the patty burrito-style. Service is very attentive here. So many places cause no problems but also make nothing good of ordinary life; however, at Los Hermanos, not only is it a real pleasure to eat and dine here, but we can also talk to the workers with some small chitchat as long as important situations bring us up to awareness. Burritos are fine, made well, and usually get on plates with certain kinds of sauces which I’m happy to report have good taste and refreshment on the basis of casual, taco-to-taco experiences. Tacos specials here are as apparent as their posters for deals on this stuff. Our ambiance here is vivid and decorative should the tiny little objects be noticed, like the silver flower images and the Mexican textures of artistry. At times when I’m looking at the menu, although it has the confirmed items in text, I have to make sure my own thoughts for delicious burritos and tasty tacos are just as accurate since I may accidentally order something I’m not familiar with or something gets in my system which tells me to issue more comments with the cashier and my family. My family gets busy with work in the Antelope Valley so this Los Hermanos location does very well on our radar as we’re looking for fun and good times. Dad tends to prefer enchiladas more than burritos because he generally works on a lighter scale for food and pleasure, especially with his choice of diet and general frame of mind. Of course, I just see enchiladas and want to add a burger for them. Plenty of customers have filled the place up and have been nice to us. We’re not typically given any warnings here but there’s no bad issues to speak of in particular to dining under the roof where all the magic happens and charm bursts through us all as laughter gets its place in our history together as a family, and, the workers take out plates and fill new orders like every tomorrow is just yesterday in full scoop. The restaurant has a lot of original preparations and even some oddities to speak of for the Mexican cuisine exploration we’re into. Highly...
Read moreWent through the drive thru. Husband ordered a chicken taco salad and a two item combo dinner wirh 1 ground beef enchilada and 1 cheese enchilada. The employee asked what type of meat and he said, 1 beef, 1 cheese. We pulled forward, then went home. The taco salad had ground beef on it and no chips in the salad and the salad was just a soggy greasy mess. The enchiladas were not what we ordered either. No cheese enchilada and the meat was what seemed to be pork. This is the second time in two months we have been here and our order was incorrect. This was the exact same issue we had several years ago with this place and is the reason why we stopped eating here. The salad was disgusting and went straight to the trash bin after a couple of bites. The combo was edible, not great, but a disappointment as it was not what my husband ordered.
Take note: Work on listening to your customers when they order, repeat the order back to your customer. Repeat the order again when your customer gets to the window. Double check.your bags before you hand it off to the customer and make sure the order is correct.
No more chances, we won't...
Read moreThis place is horrible. Went in because I tried their birria tacos one time and it was perfect “ crunchy , flavorful , filling “ went in with my family My husband got nacho fries with carnitas meat. The fries were so depressing to look it . Just look at the picture. I don’t even have to explain it. The carnitas just look at it DRY , it’s like if they had an old piece there that they just decided to microwave. That dish was DEPRESSING. My birria tacos were mediocre, after waiting over 20+ for our food I can tell my tacos were sitting there because they were soggy . And my kids just regular taco plate with rice and beans that plate is dumb proof.
I’m so disappointed considering I spent nearly $50 for disappointing food.
Those nacho fries, I just can’t it’s embarrassing to even serve that plate. When I asked for more cheese because CLEARLY you can see it’s missing a whole lot of everything the lady even looked baffled I asked for more cheese…. ( mind you I only said no tomatoes or salsa...
