I was really disappointed with the quality of food and service of my visit today. I went through the drive thru and ordered the chicken dinner that came with a salad. I was asked what type of dressing I would like and I told them I would like Thousand and Italian on the side. Once I got to the window and paid for my food I was asked to pull around to the front of the building to wait for my food...that was not a problem. When I got my food and I opened the bag immediately because I was hungry so I drove and grubbed. A few of my fries were cold and soggy and the rest were just hard and hot. The chicken was cooked so hard (overcooked) the pieces wings/leg looked as though it came from a baby chick. I then was ready for my salad but there was no salad dressing in the bag. (bummer) I called back to let them know about the missing salad when I got to my salad eating destination. I talked to one guy who gave the phone to another guy who I could barely understand because of his Mexican accent. He first said the ticket said no dressing and then he apologized for not putting the dressing in the bag. I was not in the mood for a dry salad or dry to the bone chicken. I will not visit this...
Read moreCountry boy has been the go to for my family and I when we chose to dine out. It’s been a little over a month since I’ve been there. This morning around 10:50 I order 2 pastrami sandwiches, 2 large fries, 1 Paul Bunyan, regular root beer and jumbo Pepsi. Got home the bread on the pastrami was super hard. Live 20 minutes away wasn’t about to drive back. For 11.25 a sandwich I would think I wouldn’t have this issue. I’m not complaining about the price I love their pastrami but I’m sure the cooks feel the bread is hard😕. My poor 70 year old mother had to eat it with one bread because the bottom part was so hard. The root beer soda was flat. The only thing that was good was the fries my son hasn’t tried his burger. Country boy owners needs to have a little chat with their employees about checking the freshness of certain foods. Wasn’t...
Read moreFood is way overpriced and the food is way underperportioned for the price. Stopped going there a year ago because I got a cheeseburger that was no bigger than a McDonald's burger and paid almost 8 dollars just for the burger. Oh wait you want fries and a drink? That will be another 7 dollars for that 12 oz soda and small helping of fries. Place is a joke, i don't know how they have stayed in business all this time. I will go to five guys and pay that kind of money for a burger, at least I know I'm getting what I paid for. On a side note, McDonald's big Mac tastes better than any of the food country boy puts out. Overseasoned, old tasting, chewy like a tire and flat tasting soda, that is how I would describe all the food and drinks there. Don't go there with your family unless you have a...
