Taqueria El Paisano — Restaurant in California

The restaurant is located behind the Chevron gas station in a very rundown shack. Don't be discouraged if there seemed to be no one in the restaurant. I went into an empty restaurant, but 10+ people started to arrive after I ordered my food. It seemed I was the only person who didn't speak Spanish ordering food. Recommended dish were pork tamales (4.5/5) and and caldo de res (4.0/5 ... I had better). About 50% of people came after me only ordered caldo de res. The soup seemed blank and a bit too sweet initially. However, after dumping chopped onion and cilantro and squeezed some lemon into the soup, and the flavors began to come out, and it was very good. Yooo I love myself for deciding to finally eat at this spot. A type of love that trancends duality. Hot and cold, burrito and bowl, tamales and no tamales.

I ordered a phat super burrito for $11, and two of those $4 TAMALES PREPARADOS. SCHMACK, PHAT AS HELL, POUNDS OF MEAT, ASK FOR XTRA CHEEZ ;)

I can't deny the service that they have as a server, but the quality of the food put in jeopardy their reputation, i, well acctually my wife, daughter, son and i, ate a chicken taco, 3 of the fried quesadillas, and a cheese tamal, they where good, and since a have a party the next day we disided to buy 3 dozen of tamales, well by the time that I get back to the house, my wife tried one and it smells that it was spoil, she open one of the chicken tamales and it was...
