DO NOT BUY THIS PLACE FOOD i went here late night because I was busy all day ordered two four piece chicken. Plates and one small catfish plate collard greens for my mother and okra for my mother one the guy mat the counter was dry and rude he had no energy he let you see he didn't wanna be there he says something to the guy in the back they look both look at me why I don't know i paid $50 something dollars so I get it go home I realized the collard greens weren't even in the bag the two plates of the four piece chicken was rock hard no moisture at all I think they took some old chicken and warmed it up or reheated it it was hard hard I tried to call noone answered went to the answering machine called jj chicken and fish in Oakland he had to call one of the people there to tell them to answer the phone I called back that man whoever he was answered the phone four times ans hung up in my face four times I called the lasts time he said it was the phone hanging up on me a lie tokd me that I needed to bring back the chicken and they'll replace my mom and son were hungry still don't allow them to sell okd food to a customer who spent $50 sonething dollars on a meal that's wasn't the whole meal he was being nasty and rude to me how they even cooking would food when they not even soul people there alot of bad reviews on this restaurant avoid it if I were you should of took a picture of the chicken but we hadn't ate all day instead of them haveing respectpul customer service and replaced the chicken they thought I wouldn't noticed it was okd and gave it to me and my son anyways unprofessional they don't even have a cooperate number yoi can call and complain to that's why they comfortable selling old food probably dropped it...

Service: Fast, friendly, and efficient. No frills, no fuss. They kept it moving without making anyone feel rushed.

This has been a very bad experience. They serve contaminated rotten refried chicken wings and have a bad attitude because they can't understand english well enough to get your order straight. I brought this to the attention of man that took my ordernfor chicken wings on the 25th of Aug. 2021 and I stated that wings were cooked after they had started to decay and grossly spoiled. I couldn't return them since I live a substanial distance from this place. However i did save a sample for the authorities. Because when I explained to the man taking the orders how grossly messed up he was when he took my order over the phone and how nasty and unsanitary the food was when I got it he began to laugh and thought it was funny. I am a 27 year war Vet and I don't take to someone taking my money and giving a hard time especially because of the way thatnI earned my money. I have spent a lot of time in and out of hospitials for the US. And I want be intimidated or direpected by a fool that wants to play around with his own safety and security. Therefore I feel that the City of Sacramento, the County of Sacramento Ard the US health service's along with the federal trade commision, the Bureau of Consumer Affairs should hear about this as well as the local news media! You don't play with me and my money especially because of the way I earned it! I have visited JJ's many times in the Bay Area and in different cities. But, this is the worst fish restaurant that I have ever visited both foreign...
