Taqueria My Jalisco — Restaurant in California

I thought this place would of had improved thier food and service. They have not!! Went there last last night (11/6), and wanted a chili relano dinner. I ordered, paid my money, ($23), and waited, and waited. Meanwhile, I observed Grubhub and UberEats orders going out the door. The waiter, there were at least 4, came to my table and said they had no chili relanos and asked if I wanted something else. I said ok, chicken tacos. I waited some more. Finally, she brings me my tacos along with rice and beans, and no salad. The chicken was tough, cold and had bits of gristle. Rice and beans were barely warm. I brought this to their attention and they took plate and heated it in the microwave. I waited some more. Meanwhile, Grubhub and UberEats people coming and going. When my meal came back, I a little rice and beans and half of a taco. It was awfull. NO BUENO!!!! I thought they had gotten better from the time before I went there several months ago and they haven't, only worse! I do not recommend going there. They are more concerned about Grubhub and UberEats orders and not a walk in customer, and it makes you wonder what the quality of food is like in those bags going out...

The staff wasn't friendly. A sour faced girl took our order, said nothing, handed us a receipt. We waited for our food while deafening music played. We got our food fairly quickly, which I was grateful for because I was pretty sure I was going deaf. We took our food home to eat and it was horrible. Tacos were greasy and disintegrated when we picked them up. They were extremely salty and tasted like old grease. The burritos were rolled weird so the first half was all beans and rice and the other half had a little chicken that tasted like it came from a can, a huge wad of cilantro, and a blob of cream. I would have thought it was a one off but all the burritos were like that. The churros were old, greasy and rancid tasting, with some awful artificial apple(?) Flavor carmel in the middle. I will never get food...

I always forget about this taqueria and then I get food and kick my self! It’s hidden away at the end of the shopping center and I usually travel the other direction on Elkhorn. But omg! So good!

It is welcoming and more restaurant than fast food drive through. I’m not forgetting again!

So delicious! The pastor taco salad is the best pastor and rice I have had in months! It looked small but I am uncomfortably full because I had to finish it, it was so good! No more stopping at Aldabertos on the way home, I’ll remember to go 2 extra blocks and get truly delicious food...
