Tom's Famous Burgers 8 — Restaurant in California

Food is always fresh and "hot off the grill". Ive tried a lot of the dinner menu items as well as breakfast items. Havent found one item that wasnt good.

Ordered the pastrami and fries which was pretty good. Not the most tender or meatiest pastrami, but overall, very tasty. The fries are cooked just right and they're seasoned with seasoning salt--a nice touch.

Service is good and the waitresses are nice and helpful. Been going here for a few years and will continue to come back.

Ok, just made my rounds in early October 2017. Service was even better than it had been. Staff was friendlier than normal (don't take that out of context--they've always been pleasant). They seemed to have stepped up their game as far as service. While at Toms, a worker was mopping the floors sith a very hot mop, which is a good sign. Again, don't read into that as the place has always been very clean.

I got to the restaurant around 8:30 once I approach the dark skin short lady was having a conversation with another person as we waited there for 10 to 20 minutes she continued to talk then move around within the front counter while we still waiting in line . I verbally said hey can we order next minute someone else comes in the door and she tells us in our face that she's going to take his order while we're waiting there unprofessional she don't tend to customers as she needs to she takes her sweet time like if she hates her job maybe a little bit of customer service skills training would be something that I would apply in this situation at the end of the day you're bringing business to the company if you're not doing your job how is the business going to create their revenue this is something that the owner may...

I went for a quick bite and ordered chilly cheese fries they cost me $10 to go, and about to get home I checked the box of food and had no meat and no cheese WTH is that? Seriously? I went back and asked them why my plate was like that with no meat and no cheese and she said o well do you want more meat and cheese I said no, I don't want more. I had ordered this plate before and it's well served that's why I ordered it. I just want my plate to have the right portion of what it has on it not asking for more of nothing. And besides the cheese was not even melted. The lady needs to know how to do customer service, very rude, making it seem as if I ate it.
