Well I’ll start by saying that I normally get to experience great food from here especially eating there it’s always good quality. Today I ordered to go and had I checked prior to leave the place I woulda returned my food . I ordered a sope de al pastor which woulda been perfect in taste had the sope tortilla itself tasted refried other then that great . The tacos the cabesa as seen in the picture the tortillas were so hard for being “homemade “ and tasted as if they were from two days ago the meat woulda been great if they had not just gave me the big fat parts only but still good taste for the meat their green salsa is my favorite over all and the menudo today was amazing . I noticed since they changed some staff it’s not the same and it sucks cause you get used to taste and quality but hopefully this was a one time thing and on my next visit they can fix the error . Service is always friendly and nice and the place is super clean to me and spacious fits my toddlers big stroller comfortably and they have high chairs...

I visited this restaurant because of its reputation for menudo and handmade tortillas. While there were some positives, a few key details missed the mark.
The menudo had a generous amount of meat but lacked the bold flavor I expected. I had to add salt, oregano, and spices repeatedly, and it was just okay by the end. Also, serving it with lemon instead of lime was disappointing, as limes are traditional and make a noticeable difference. I’d rate the menudo 6/10.
The handmade tortillas were excellent—great size, perfect texture, and delicious. They deserve a solid 9/10. The tacos, made with the same tortillas, were decent, though the asada needed extra salt. A lack of additional sauces or grilled onions limited the experience. I’d rate the tacos 7.5/10.
The restaurant was clean, organized, and had attentive service. The staff checked in often and even offered extra tortillas, which I appreciated. Overall, I’d give the place a 3.5/5 or 7/10. Great potential but room for improvement.
