¡Ay, mis amores! Let me tell you, as a fabulous abuela, I had the most wonderful opportunity to spend two days at the Los Alebrijes summer program, and my heart is still full of joy and beautiful memories. Even though it was just two days of a week-long program, it was enough to see the magic unfold.

From the moment I stepped in, I knew this was a special place. This program is truly a treasure for anyone who cherishes our beautiful familia traditions and wants to see them flourish in the next generation. We made delicious aguas frescas, just like my mamá used to! Seeing my granddaughters' faces light up as they learned these skills, skills that have been passed down through our family for generations, was simply priceless. And to top it all off, we even had the chance to appreciate the beauty of a traditional zarape blanket, a true symbol of our culture.

But it wasn't just about the activities. Being able to volunteer my time and create these precious memories alongside my granddaughters was, without a doubt, the best part. Every laugh, every shared glance, – these are moments I will hold dear forever.

And let's talk about the people! The staff and the other volunteers were absolutely amazing, so welcoming and full of warmth. They truly made everyone feel like family. And the creative facilitators they invited to the program? ¡Qué talentosos! They brought such wonderful energy and new ideas, making every activity engaging and inspiring.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Los Alebrijes summer program to everyone. If you're looking for a place where children can connect with their heritage, learn valuable traditions, and make unforgettable memories, all while being surrounded by caring and passionate individuals, then this is the program for you. I hosted a surprise birthday party with The Fern and Brenda and her team blew me and my guests away with the incredible space she provides for the community. From beginning to end this business went above expectations with their professionalism and the attention to detail they put into the vibe and aesthetic of the venue that is suitable for any event. They provide a unique indoor/outdoor experience that includes a variety of different amenities other venues would typically not offer or charge extra for. Such as house keeping on site, parking for guests with an attendant, coffee bar, built in bar, sinks and fridges, furniture and tables and chairs.

My party was a hit and everyone was very complimentary of The Fern. Truly a one of a kind experience, a hidden gem in the Huntington park area and I fully support this business for anyone's celebratory needs. Every thing was clean, organized and everyone had a safe and pleasant evening.
