My family has been coming to this Chuck E. Cheese for years. We’ve had birthday parties here, random fun visits, and made so many great memories. But after this recent visit with my daughter, I felt the need to share our experiences mainly to give other families a heads up, especially when it comes to gift cards.
My daughter and I came in for a little girls’ night. We have the membership that gives you 50% off food and drinks, which is always a great perk. On top of that, we usually buy Chuck E. Cheese gift cards from Sam’s Club to help stretch our budget and up until now, we’ve never had a problem.
But this time, as soon as I opened a brand new gift card right in front of the cashier, she immediately said, “Those don’t work here.” I hadn’t even handed it over yet. She swiped it a few times, then mentioned another woman who had the same issue but the way she described that situation included an unnecessary comment about the woman’s race, just felt completely out of line and inappropriate.
The whole exchange felt rushed and uncomfortable. At one point, it even looked like she was about to toss my gift card in the trash despite me just having opened it! I asked for it back, and later took it to Sam’s Club. The staff there were super kind and confirmed that the card was active with the full $25 balance. So clearly, the card itself wasn’t the issue.
Aside from that, the place was a messy. Tables were dirty, the drink station was sticky, trash cans were overflowing, and several games weren’t working. Later, my sister came by with her little family, and somehow their leftover food disappeared while they stepped away, even though no one seemed to be clearing tables. It was just a strange experience all around.
That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due. There were a few employees who were genuinely kind especially the one in the Chuck E. costume. He was amazing super sweet, playful, and really brought smiles to the kids faces. That kind of energy was refreshing to see. The girl working the prize area was also very kind and patient.
So just a friendly heads up if you’re planning to use a Sam’s Club gift card, it’s worth checking with staff ahead of time to avoid any surprises. I truly hope this was just a one off experience. I’d really like to see this location return to the clean, welcoming, family-friendly spot we’ve known for...
Read moreI usually go to this Chuck E. Cheese with my son who has special needs. Today was such a bad experience that we left early we paid for everything. The salad bar the jumping area and had pizza. first the manager who was a man on Wednesday 6th of august 2025 Told us we were using the wrong plate , the manager seemed upset and asked if we actually paid for the salad bar of course we did and we went and got the correct plate from our table . Extremely aggressive and rude . The same manager ran and told another guy to come tell me my Son didn’t have a wristband for the jumper area . I quickly showed them the wristband that he had on his arm. Then they said he had to have socks. I felt the whole time we were there. We were being watched for what reason I don’t know there was other people there too . They came up to me so aggressively Mind you I just spent 100 on everything , the way they acted was very unprofessional made me feel uncomfortable. I wouldn’t ever step into that place . For all my special needs mommy’s out there you may want to think twice before going to this place. I know they have sensory time but let’s just hope that same manager guy is not there the day you go .
I want to add that there was another manager that is a woman that I spoke with afterwards to place a complaint before leaving was very compassionate understanding and understood .
Rules are rules and we completely understand but we followed it all . We felt...
Read moreI had a horrible experience today, I paid for my daughter who has autism to jump at the trampoline and she received a wrist band. The person that was suppose to guard the area and check for wristbands at the trampoline area was never in his location. I would have to wait and find him all the way in the other side. If I am paying for my daughter to have access to the trampoline she should be able to go after being checked with her wristband if the person is there as they should be. If the person is not there we aren’t able to go to the trampoline since no one is there to check it. I made it known in the front desk with the manager that the person in the trampoline area kept leaving that area unattended therefore I didn’t have access to what I paid for and they didn’t even apologize and just made me wait until he showed up. This happened 3 times, making my daughter with autism upset since no one was there to check and the area was blocked. For a company like chucky e cheese that is suppose to be autism friendly this experience was extremely horrible and the rude staff didn’t help to...
