Village Pizza — Restaurant in California

Their pizza is delicious, possibly best I’ve ever had but I want whoever manages their online to know how frustrated I am with my experience tonight.

Ordered pick up on Grubhub, ready for pick up between 5:20& 5:30. I called at 5:30 for curbside pick up, they said it’s almost done and they’ll bring it out. Called again at 5:55 “so sorry, it’s almost done”. Called at 6:15 “we gave it to a Grubhub driver who asked for it. You’ll have to call them.” Zero attempt to fix the problem, just “we gave it to a driver, you’ll have to call them. I can give you their number if you want.”

Then, as I was sitting in the same spot waiting on hold with GrubHub, the same guy from the phone came out with our order and explained there were two people with my name and first initial so they got confused. At that point I had been sitting in the car with very hungry, tired little kids who had been whining nonstop for the past hour and just been told their mistake was my problem to deal with now. I had zero time to listen to what happened, I took our order and left.

Came home to inhale our cold pizza, browned lettuce salad, and fried zucchini with no ranch. Like I said, the food is fantastic, I really want to love every single thing about this place but tonight was...

This place is definitely hit or miss. The first time I went, they got my order wrong for pickup and were extremely slow. The second time it worked out well enough. The third time (tonight) I called my order in and made sure to order slowly and clearly. Even so, the guy kept cutting me off and repeating the wrong order. When I asked the price, he hung up. Sure enough, when I got in, the order was wrong. The guy who took my order started arguing with me in front of the whole store. I just told him how incredible they all are and left. When I got home, the pizza was terribly undercooked. Screw me, right?

They are in dire need of competition. Their pizza is pretty good but their service is noticeably and reliably bad. I’ll be driving the few miles extra to another place so I won’t have to curb the urge to choke some fat pizza punk in front of...

They made me a pizza with off menu ingredients that was 110% what I was looking for! Thank you so much for making it!

Ive been here a few times since moving to town and im always more than pleased with what I get.

This time I was looking for something that i have made and found a few other places. Untill now i couldn't find one near me.

Here it is folks! A pastrami pizza! Looks intimidating but something about all the flavors together.. Basically a pastrami sandwich not that odd. When someone asks for pickles on a pizza m ost would laugh.. Im telling you try it!
