Peking Wok Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Fallbrook

My fiancée and I are still exploring the area around Fallbrook ever since we moved here and figured we'd stop by this place to give it a go. We called-in ahead with reservations, being that it was a Friday evening, and that was a very smart move. The place was packed! This told me that it must be a popular spot for the locals and being in a prime location, we felt it safe in the shopping pavilion right next to the Sheriffs office. Parking was a bit tricky, but as I said, the area is safe :)

Upon entering, we were greeted by smiles, an aquarium and live jazz music. That just sealed the deal! The decor was a nice mix of traditional Chinese culture and a hint of contemporary-modern touch. Our appetizers came promptly and the wine/martini selection was diverse and divine. The final test was the food, which did not fail! I completely loved the lemon chicken and it was prepared perfectly! I've finally found a place that cooks it how I like it!!

Yes, this place did NOT disappoint and my only recommendation is to make sure to call-head with reservations to avoid...

It's Mother's Day and we used Peking Wok's website to place our order for a carry out meal to celebrate. We have been loyal customers of the restaurant for several years. The entire experience was amazing and wonderful! We selected our favorites from the online menu and placed them in the cart. We added our gratuity and paid online with our credit card. Our order was immediately acknowledged via text with an order number and estimated time to pickup. We drove to the restaurant without waiting for a text to advise that the food was ready but as soon as we arrived it was ready. The waiting line was well marked, only two people were admitted at a time, social distancing enforced and everything was as we ordered as they smoothly moved us through to the exit. As usual, the food was perfect! We have lived in Hawaii and experienced restaurants there and elsewhere that are acknowledged to be among the best Chinese restaurants in the world. None are better that Peking Wok and my opinion is that Peking Wok is the best of...

Moved in down the street saw good reviews.... EVERY TIME.. all three times i have gone here my order is wrong or they forget something. The food is eehh ok.. Not worth the hassle. I came in tonight they had the wrong name for my order took them 10 mins to figure it out, they tried to charge me almost double becuase my order was wrong. Got home my order still wasnt right.. Worst resteraunt in the plaza dont waste your time. Pick up sticks and panda exspress sucks but atleast they get your order right the first time and you dont place a togo order and get your food 40 mins later and its wrong.. My food had carrots i asked about the vegetables in my dish.. They didnt say carrots.. I cant eat carrots.. Soooooo. I ate rice soup and a cheese wonton wich have lemon in them? And they are sweet?. Goodthing it cost me 25$ ......
