Red Sugars Bar — Restaurant in Calumet Township

I visited Red Sugars Bar twice. Once on a Friday and this past Saturday. I had the pleasure of having two amazing bartenders, Friday and Lisa. We all were laughing and talking as if we had known each other for years. Friday is there on Fridays, and I'm sure other days in the week. Lisa is there on some Saturdays. They are two friendly bartenders. When your bartender is cordial, you don't mind patronizing the establishment. Also the drinks, we'll my drink, was good and reasonable. I can't end without mentioning the owner Red. I met her the Friday I visited. She was very friendly and joined in with the conversations, the joking, and laughter. Both times were a good time. I enjoy their patio dining. Nice staff ...Nice place to grab a cocktail and food while listening to good music. The menu offers chicken, shrimp, and fish separately or as a combo. They also offer lobster tails as a combo And a lamb chop meal with asparagus and brussel sprouts as side options. Jerk chicken egg rolls seem to be a popular item served. Their french fries are REALLY GOOD. The only downside to DeeDee's is the upcharge for ginger beer...

This was my 1st time. Very nice crowd, dj was playing good mix of music. They had a Tuesday night special with fried shrimp and lobster tails. I didnt think the shrimp was that great plus they limit the number of fried lobster tails you can get. I probably will return but...
