Visiting the Chi yesterday a friend of mine wanted to stop and get some wings. She was really hungry having not eaten all day. I was opposed.. fried chicken wings the worst food on the planet! This place was disgusting! atmosphere? what atmosphere? Wingz with a z first red flag.Carry out only. I’d bet you all the tea in China if this place is inspected it has serious code violations. Located in the hood as usual and by my standards this place is filthy mess. The black man with the beard wearing the Muslim cap and acting like the scum of a heathen he truly is! He needs a reality check as he stands protected behind the plexiglass. He’s born and bred resentment and attitude. Disrespectful and rude to the very people that keep him off the streets! Put him back on the corner where he belongs. This joint that’s intentionally been placed a black neighborhood services a area where poor folks just accept this kind of establishment that is unkept unclean and we all know unhealthy food choices. If you wanna eat fried chicken and fish hitch a ride to the market buy your own go home and fry it! Hopefully in a much cleaner, healthy environment. It matters where you get your wings! Get a grip demand better! No I did not eat the wings if you had one you know what they taste like! I came home to Indy and had a peanut butter sandwich prepared in a safe clean kitchen...

My order is prepared as requested. If you do t want your food 'over cooked/fried hard,' and so, you should make it clear when you order so that your Fish is not very hard and lacking, flakiness, or that your Chicken isnt so gard that it's dried out.

They offer between 3-6 dried flavors that can be "sprinkle over both their Chicken and Fish."

Their potato wedges are great. Sometimes we are asked if we prefer french fries, but not so long ago crinkled Fries were offered. But were not very good to me. Order comes with Cole slaw and a regular canned beverage.

It would be great if they made wedges a request while making French Fries the norm. And again saucing them.

The previous Owner and his Son no longer own and operate the business. The new owner is trying to follow previous but is receptive to ideas.

Their very small and new staff is trying to learn and provide great food and service so i try being patient and assist asked. Owner looks forward to his customers feedback.

I haven't ordered here in the past year. The service & food has changed. Coolers have no beverages or desserts. Possibly new owners or staff. I Tried calling in an order week before this visit during normal business hours and no answers to the phone on multiple days. Gave it a try, this time on a Monday evening for football games. Successfully called in an order for 20 wings. They gave me a 15-20 minute pickup time. I arrived 50 minutes later and gave my name for the call in order as the customer ahead of me did also. The clerk at the register had no idea what the customer ahead of me had ordered as well as what my order was. I waited for 10 to 15 more minutes for this order. Just to return to my event with multiple wings with feathers long as your pinky fingers....
